The Financial Analyst-Commercial Sales will be responsible for analyzing sales data, forecast revenue and collaborating with Sales, Marketing and Supply Chain teams to optimize performance for Saint-Gobain.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Sales Performance Analysis:
    • Analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities for improvement and areas of concern.
    • Generate the daily Pace Report for IPG & EPG teams.
  • Financial Forecasting and Budgeting:
    • Assist in maintaining financial models, forecasts and budgets aligned with commercial sales goals.
    • Update financial models for business unit category lines.
  • Performance Reporting:
    • Prepare regular reports and presentations to management, highlighting key sales metrics, performance against targets, and potential risks and opportunities.
    • Issue monthly Management Control Reports (MCR’s) for select Saint-Gobain business units.
  • New Product Development (NPD):
    • Assist with financials for NPD.
    • Prepare and analyze post launch P&L for new products.
  • Data Analysis and Interpretation:
    • Gather, analyze, and interpret financial data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.
    • Incorporate Power BI dashboards into monthly reporting.
  • Ad Hoc:
    • Provide ad hoc financial analysis and support for specific commercial initiatives as needed.

The profile: 

  • A bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting and a minimum experience of 1 year, dealing with analytical tasks.
  • Computer skills (Office 365 programs, SAP or equivalent ERP system).
  • Effective communication skills, both written and oral
  • Ability to work in teams and with multiple levels of the organization.
  • Must be detail-oriented to ensure accuracy and completeness of the information
  • Previous experience with SAP, QlikView and Power BI is an asset.
  • Able to navigate data and use database tools i.e.: Query tools, database excel functions and other cube-based platforms
  • Working in our Hybrid mode based at Mississauga

The Mill/Braid Operator is responsible for safely operating both the mill and braiding machines. The Mill/Braid Operator will use the mill machine to compound silicone raw silicone to provide to the Extrusion Operators. The Operator must mill batches, up to 40 lbs., using the two-roll mill, to mix material per the routing notes, SOPs, MOPs, or batch records. Operator must also visually inspect product to ensure parts are clean and free of any dirt, hair, or particulate before supplying to the Extrusion department.

The Mill/Braid Operator will also be responsible for braiding reinforced silicone tubing using the braiding machine. This Operator must also record in-process inspections and verifications using Good Documentation Practices (GDP). Proficient at the operation, OJT & trouble-shooting processes/equipment in the mill/braid department. Operator is expected to safely produce the highest quality products in the silicone industry, following the standards of operation as set forth by SGPPL, Beaverton.

WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS?

  • Education:
    • Minimum High School Diploma or GED is required

 

  • Experience:
    • Machine Operating Experience is preferred
    • Proficient with measurement equipment is required
    • Good eye/hand coordination is required
    • Being mechanically inclined is required
    • Having attention to detail is required
    • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds; required.

Job Summary

The Material Handler is responsible for maintaining inventory and facilitating shipping needs for all products and materials to include issuing materials to manufacturing (kitting components) for orders to be completed prior to shipping; for our manufacturing facilities in Clearwater and Largo Florida for Saint-Gobain Life Sciences.

 

WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS?

Essential Functions

  • Store materials using assigned protocols with correct equipment.
  • Perform inventory transactions in QAD
  • Recommend measures to improve methods and quality of product.
  • Suggest changes in working conditions to increase efficiency.
  • Analyze and resolve work problems, or assess workers in solving work problems.
  • Initiate and support housekeeping and safety activities within the facility daily.
  • Communicate with the other shifts the status of parts, equipment and any other matters that potentially impact the product being shipped.
  • Coordinate department's activities with other departments.
  • Verify/reconcile all forms and paperwork as needed, including manufacturing forms, work order documentation, stock movement tickets, scrap tickets, identifications tag, QA forms via electronic document storage, etc.
  • Schedule trucks for delivery and pick up of product as required for on-time expediting.
  • Be proactive in assuring all shipments are shipped on time.
  • Communicate and assist in resolving any issues that affect shipments whether current or in the future.
  • Load and/or unload trucks. Subject to driving company vehicle(s) as required.
  • Research and audit inventory by conducting daily cycle counts.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Must demonstrate the ability to follow verbal and/or written instructions. Must be able to properly fill out time reporting and work order documentation. Operational knowledge of injection molding machines is preferred. Operational knowledge of compounders, and related equipment preferred. Must become forklift certified.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Requires walking, primarily on a level surface throughout the day. May need to climb stairs/steps periodically. May need to stoop or kneel and reach above shoulder heights, below the waist. Lifting as required with proper lifting techniques up to 50 pounds on occasion.

This position is in a production environment where the use of personal protective equipment such as hearing protection, safety glasses, and safety shoes are mandated. Noise levels are generally loud and temperatures may vary. There is some exposure to dust, fumes, and chemicals, depending on areas accessed.

Job Summary

Operate extruder machines to produce products which conform to part print. Assure products meet all quality specifications and are made according to the latest procedures and standards. Set up extrusion equipment to produce parts to specification.

 

WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS?

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Set Up extrusion machines by installing dyes, machine screws, and sizing rings to manufacture parts according to specifications using approved set up sheets to cycle machines
  • Weigh materials and other specified ingredients per specifications/instructions and Load blended materials in hopper on molding machines as needed
  • Operate extrusion machines to produce specified product according to customer specifications and ensuring Quality of the parts.
  • Inspect Parts for defects and make necessary corrections to troubleshoot them out of the process. Escalate when help is needed
  • Utilize the Manufacturing Execution System to update job data, material usage, locate process sheets, view prints, etc.
  • Measure Parts according to print guidelines using calipers, rulers, and other measuring devices.
  • Meet Productivity standards on a consistent basis. Escalate issues to management that will affect productivity.
  • Purge machines during the changeover process to ensure the machine is ready for the next cycle.
  • Set Up and Operate the cutter to cut tubing to specified dimensions.
  • Label and Seal Bags
  • Operate the auto winder removing spools f completed product and setting up the next spool to ensure proper operations of the auto winder
  • Set up the printer to properly label tubing per specifications
  • Suggest work instruction corrections/recommendations to help foster an environment of continuous improvement 
  • Perform other related tasks, including but not limited to, performing housekeeping tasks required to keep work areas clean and organized.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

High School diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred. Efficient and willingness to perform required work with good attendance and attitude. Understand SOP's relating to the department activities. Good analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills. Must be a team player. Effective communication skills essential - both written and verbal

Must be able to properly fill out time reporting and work order documentation. Operational knowledge of injection molding machines is preferred.

Job Summary
QA Inspectors compare in process and finished goods to established specifications; reports variance to Coordinator.

Essential Functions:

  • Compare first piece produced on equipment set-up for conformance to specification.
  • Write detailed inspection report in compliance with GMP standard on parts, products and processes that fail inspection; investigates scope of the failure and forward report to Coordinator for disposition.
  • Use working knowledge of inspection techniques to determine most accurate method of comparing measurements of complex parts to blueprint and specification.
  • Compare measurements, form, fit, function and value judgments of simple and complex parts to blueprint, specifications and general workmanship standards using documents, experience and knowledge of inspection techniques.
  • Utilize statistical process control where applicable.
  • Assist in orientation of new technicians and inspection processes, as necessary.
  • Assist in ensuring proper calibration of equipment and measuring instruments.

Secondary Responsibilities

  • Maintain proper levelof supplies (office and inspection) to prevent depletion This includes reordering task
  • Carry out formulated plans, policies and procedures of the department per GMP regulations
  • Communicate with employee's any instructions or requirements as deemed necessary by the Quality Manager
  • Must be available for shift work, when necessary
  • Be willing to participate in training that may be conducted off-site
  • Report safety hazards observed to EHS Coordinator

Senior Product Compliance Engineer I

WHY DO WE NEED YOU?

The Product Compliance Engineer is responsible for overseeing all aspects of roofing product code approvals/certifications with code bodies and regulatory agencies including Underwriters Laboratories, Factory Mutual, International Code Council Evaluation Services, Florida Building Commission, Miami-Dade Product Control, Texas Department of Insurance and the Cool Roof Rating Council (CRRC) to account for expiration dates and changes due to code adoptions, product additions, deletions, changes and updates, and to support the residential and commercial roofing businesses.

Essential Functions

Code Testing & Approvals

  • Manage product certification & inspection programs.
  • Manage the renewal and revision of the building code evaluation report.
  • Work with inspection, certification, and relevant government agencies on product design change approvals& revisions
  • Oversee testing programs with third-party agencies for new & existing product approvals and certifications granted by third party test labs and certification agencies.
  • Develop, negotiate, oversee, administer, and communicate all aspects of product testing including physical properties, fire classification, wind resistance, wind uplift, impact resistance, and radiative properties
  • Develop and implement corrective action procedures to address any deficiencies identified by third party inspection agencies.

Documentation Management

  • Manage compliance manuals revision, working with site QA teams to review and/or revise compliance manuals on a regular basis.
  • Develop specification documents for raw materials, product designs, finished products, purchased products, product packaging, operational tolerances, and measurements.
  • Develop procedures for evaluation of raw materials and finished products.
  • Technical Data Sheets and Best Practices.
  • Audit Product Labeling
  • Published technical content (Website, printed literature)

Management of Change

  • Review and distribute management of change documentation to key stakeholders from each area of the roofing business.
  • Track the approval process and notify stakeholders when approval is granted.
  • File and maintain archive of Management of Change documentation.
  • Participates in TRA and SA process, owning decision making power for lower risk changes.

Manage Packaging

  • Update residential roofing packaging for each manufacturing location. Will work with multiple vendors supplying varying packaging media such as cartons, plastic wraps, tapes and paper.
  • Collaborate with Product Management or Codes and Compliance to update wraps with new or updated information.
  • Work with vendors to include Spanish and/or French translations of all information captured on product packaging.

Industry Association & Customer Education

  • Engage with members of the industry at associations and committees. Reports back to the business on key events.
  • Participate and/or presents at customer education events.

Required Competencies

  • Utilizes sound technical knowledge of materials, processes, techniques, and products to improve product performance to reduce costs, to maximize production, and to support new knowledge research.
  • Analize data from experiments, trials, vendors, etc. and effective writing of reports, slides, summaries, bulletins, etc.
  • Effectively summarize building code requirements and ASTM test methods to variety of audiences.

  • BS Degree + 7 years of experience, master’s degree + 3 years of experience in Engineering or Science fields, or other related disciplines.
  • Experience in quality systems, document control, manufacturing environment, and project management required.
  • Capability to use personal computer and Microsoft Office applications, such as Excel and Word. Able to graph and chart data. Proficiency with Adobe Pro required.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% to assist with construction, witness test progress and results, plant visits and industry events
  • Previous experience with code evaluation submittals, building code enforcement, FM Roofnav or testing of roofing or other construction products preferred.
  • Six sigma green belt is a strong plus.
  • Previous knowledge of AC10 and ISO 9001 Quality systems preferred.
