What’s the job?

  • Responsible for planning, evaluating, organizing and implementing automation related projects and initiatives.

What do you bring?

  • Bachelor’s Degree in electrical engineering or similar discipline or equivalent experience. 
  • Three to five (3-5) years of applied professional experience in Instrumentation & Controls (I&C) / PLC. 
  • Previous experience in electrical process control, instrumentation, automation, industrial protocols / networking (switching & routing) and databases. 
  • Understanding of integrated automation and information systems in a manufacturing environment. 
  • Understanding of National Electrical Code (NEC) and Arc-Flash (NFPA-70E) code requirements. 

Pay Transparency 

Certain states require pay information be provided in job postings. The national pay range for this position is $79,500 to $123,500 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.

In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual bonus. The targeted bonus amount is 10% of base salary based on company and individual performance measures. The total target cash range (base pay and annual bonus) for this position, is $87,450 to $135,850.

Maintenance Shift Technician

GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITY:

Reporting directly to the Maintenance Supervisor, the Maintenance Shift Technician is required to support the maintenance organization and process. This position will be working closely with other Maintenance Teams and Production personal to ensure the plant equipment performs to the need of the plant. The Maintenance Supervisor will define other duties and responsibilities.

*This is a night shift position.

NATURE AND SCOPE OF POSITION:

  • Responsible for ensuring all plant equipment is maintained and reliable. Must ensure that the equipment is working properly, and it meets the needs of the dept.
  • Responsible for the reactive maintenance requirements of all depts.
  • Responsible for routine identification of equipment reliability issues and support action plans to correct.
  • Develop critical spares lists and recommended stocking levels for equipment.
  • Work closely with Maintenance Leadership to integrate preventive and predictive maintenance programs into the computerized maintenance management system.
  • Required to participate in skills training improvement plans.
  • Provide support to other departmental process improvement initiatives.
  • Actively participate in departmental safety and housekeeping programs.
  • Support changing work schedules to coincide with equipment availability, craft training and resource
  • Responsible for daily forklift safety inspections and completion of checklist sheets
  • Must demonstrate good housekeeping skills to assure a safe and hazard free work environment.
  • Must have basic computer literacy to enter production data daily.
  • Other accountabilities as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS:

The Maintenance Shift Technician must have:

  • Demonstrated mechanical or electrical knowledge.
  • Knowledge of plant equipment operation and maintenance requirements.
  • Knowledge of Preventive and Predictive maintenance practices.
  • Highly engaged in World Class Manufacturing processes and improvements
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal.

Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Must have ability to operate electronic calculator to accomplish these tasks.

Reasoning Ability: Ability to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

Manufacturing IT Infrastructure Specialist

In this role, traditional IT infrastructure skills will be leveraged to support OT and manufacturing 4.0 initiatives.

Responsibilities:

Administration and Support of Local Resources:

  • Provide comprehensive support, management, development, implementation, and troubleshooting for all local data rooms both remotely and on-site within the designated region.
  • Perform tasks such as racking, stacking, and cabling of IT servers, storage, and associated equipment.
  • Install, configure, and maintain various IT systems and technologies, including MS Windows workstations and servers, Red Hat Linux servers, storage appliances/SAN, VMware, VEEAM, Veritas NetBackup, Lansweeper, CyberX industrial network monitoring, Palo Alto firewall rulesets, and HP/Aruba switches.
  • Utilize Service Now IT Service Management (ITSM) to track incidents through completion and documentation stages.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve incidents promptly, ensuring that managed infrastructure is consistently monitored for uptime, capacity, utilization, and proper handling of service requests, including major or minor changes, from recording to implementation.

Operations:

  • Create, maintain, and delete Active Directory user accounts and relevant security groups.
  • Monitor resource usage and address system performance issues and alerts proactively.
  • Participate in the change management process, including planning, follow-up, and approval, as well as incident management, such as technical escalation and closure.
  • Conduct routine disaster recovery testing to ensure system readiness and resilience.

Customer Relations:

  • Offer innovative ideas to the business regarding industrial digital solutions by sharing knowledge and staying abreast of industry trends.
  • Ensure alignment of customer needs with the strategy defined by DSI Group.
  • Address service issues by thoroughly understanding the customer's complaint, identifying the root cause of the problem, and recommending the most suitable solution to resolve it.
  • Expedite corrections or adjustments as necessary and ensure timely follow-up to confirm resolution.
  • Adhere to established communication procedures, guidelines, and policies to ensure consistency and reliability

Manufacturing IT Infrastructure Management:

  • Collaborate with local and regional management to design, procure, and implement IT systems tailored to the manufacturing network's needs.
  • Ensure that the delivered infrastructure aligns with SGTS standards and complies with security requirements, including the 28 Minimum Security Rules for Industrial and Logistics Systems (28 MSRs).
  • Oversee manufacturing IT assets throughout their entire lifecycle, from acquisition to disposal.
  • Proactively manage upgrades and replacements of non-standard IT infrastructure hardware and operating systems to maintain optimal performance and compliance.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business-related field is mandatory.
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in IT and/or technical manufacturing is essential.
  • Prior experience in serving internal customers within a large, complex organization is required.
  • Certification or equivalent experience in one or more of the following technologies is preferred: VMware, Switching/Routing/Firewall, IT Service Management (ITSM).
  • Proficiency in these areas demonstrates advanced knowledge and skills necessary for the role.
  • An in-depth understanding of manufacturing processes and technology is a prerequisite for this position.
  • Availability for occasional work outside of normal business hours is expected.

  • Vérifiez les quantités et le type de produits à placer dans les palettes selon le ticket de cueillette.

  • Effectuer des inspections quotidiennes des chariots élévateurs et de la machinerie au besoin.
  • Faire fonctionner le moteur de remorquage en toute sécurité et aider au chargement des conteneurs.
  • Coordonner et charger les camions à plateau et les camions-citernes.
  • Utilisez l'équipement et les outils fournis en toute sécurité.
  • Communiquez avec le répartiteur, le superviseur et le chauffeur pour comprendre les exigences de chargement et charger de manière sécuritaire, complète et précise. Vérifiez auprès du conducteur, après le chargement, tous les documents nécessaires et la sécurité du chargement.

Primary Duties:

  • Work with analog controls such as level sensors, load cells, and pressure sensors

Controls Technician

  • Conduct troubleshooting and calibration of thermocouples, RTD’s, level sensing devices, thickness detectors, consistency transmitters, load cells and other electrical/electronic devices.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance, testing and troubleshooting of VFD’s (Variable Frequency Drives)
  • Provide support to the Engineering department on new installations of electronic control equipment.

  • Assist management in root-cause analysis on losses related to electrical/electronic failures.
