Impact:

Mixer Operator- Produces batches of materials that are used in the manufacture of products including adhesives, urethane and PVC foams. Batch sizes may run up to 7,000 pounds. The Mixer follows SOPs, production schedules and standard formulas to meet internal and external customers' needs. Accuracy in the mixing operation is critical to quality, cost-effective production of materials use in further manufacturing processes. The Mixer works independently and as a member of a team.

Provides support to programs in Granville, NY within the defined continuous improvement framework, in a manner consistent with Saint-Gobain EHS Policies and Principles of Conduct and Action.

Employees are required to work overtime as scheduled. This includes before/after shift or weekend shift.

3rd Shift: Sunday night- Thursday night- 11:30 pm - 8:00 am

Pay: $22.28/hr to start plus $1.00 shift differential ($.75 increase in hourly rate after 6 months)

Each year, based on individual/business performance, employees have the potential to receive annual bonus in March and merit increase in April.

Required:

Experience:

Certain states require pay information be provided in job postings. The local pay range for this position is $22.28 per hour, plus shift differential of $1.00 /hr. This hourly pay rate offered can vary depending on location/geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.

In addition to the hourly base pay rate, this position is eligible for an annual bonus. The targeted bonus amount can be up to 10% of hourly rate based on company and individual performance measures.

The total annual target cash range (Hourly Pay Rate, Bonus and Shift Differential, annualized (40 hrs/week * 52wks) for this position, is $53,200.

Responsabilités :

  • Concevoir, élaborer et optimiser les procédures de fabrication des panneaux composite et des panneaux en fibre de bois dans le but de rehausser leur qualité, leur rendement et leur efficacité.
  • Mener les évaluations, la sélection ainsi que les essais des matières premières visant à mesurer leur pertinence et leur rendement.
  • Mener des études et des essais pour l’introduction de nouvelles fibres, résines ou matières premières.
  • Offrir une expertise technique et soutenir le dépannage auprès des équipes de la qualité et de la production.

Qualifications

  • Baccalauréat en science du bois, en génie chimique, en science des matériaux ou dans une discipline connexe
  • Au moins 8 à 10 d’expérience dans le traitement de la fibre de bois, la fabrication de panneaux composite ou un domaine connexe
  • Au moins 5 ans d’expérience à titre d’ingénieur des procédés dans une usine ou en étroite collaboration avec une usine

What’s the job?

The incumbent will provide the Strongsville manufacturing plant, CertainTeed Architectural (CTA) group and corporate staff with operational and financial reports and analyses regarding plant operating results.  This position ensures that corporate and group financial procedures are followed and internal controls area in place.  The incumbent makes recommendations for profitability improvements and ensures that proper controls are utilized to protect the company’s assets.

Responsible for:

  • Prepare and record all necessary plant related journal entries
  • Managing the timely completion of the month-end financial close
  • Demonstrate awareness of all elements of a plant’s financial statements
  • Prepare all post closing plant financial analysis, performance reports and meaningful commentary
  • Prepare and coordinate the annual budget at the plant level
  • Lead and direct annual standard cost roll at plant for manufactured products
  • Prepare, maintain and analyze product and project costs
  • Maintain proper spending controls
  • Support the analytical needs of CTA Finance and other plant management staff
  • Partner with plant management to increase plant efficiency and profitability
  • Prepare analysis to understand the financial ramifications of current and proposed business actions
  • Identify issues and proactively initiate analyses / solutions to plant issues
  • Ensure compliance with SGC, CertainTeed and CTA policies, procedures and internal controls
  • Oversee and reconcile inventory cycle counts and annual physical inventory
  • Assist in preparation of capital appropriations requests and facilitate/monitor Capex project completions
  • Facilitate fixed asset capitalizations, transfers and retirements
  • Track cost reduction projects and maintain required reporting
  • Support Continuous Improvement initiatives
  • Analyze and reconcile plant related balance sheet accounts
  • Support external, internal and statutory audits
  • Travel and support to other sites may be required
  • Ad hoc analysis

IS THIS JOB FOR YOU?

  • Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance, CA, CMA, CGA or MBA preferable or equivalent, complementary work experience
  • Minimum 3 - 5 years of progressive cost accounting and analysis experience with a major manufacturing organization. A strong emphasis should be put on knowledge of management accounting, cost and inventory accounting, and IFRS
  • Strong analytical skills are required to quickly grasp issues impacting the plant’s financial results
  • Strong IT aptitude to deliver effective desktop reporting (paperless web-enabled environment), utilize business warehouse tools and MS Excel and PowerPoint for analysis and presentations
  • Effective communication and presentation skills are required
  • Capable of leading a process team and able to define clear vision, goals, and service standards
  • Ability to manage projects, work independently, and communicate effectively to all areas and levels of the location
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across plant and functional organizations.
  • Demonstrated customer service orientation
  • Experience with SAP an asset
  • Experience with PowerBI or other data visualization also an asset

Instrumentation :

Chief Information Security Officer

WHY DO WE NEED YOU?

Job Summary:

The Regional Chief Information Security Officer (Regional CISO) is responsible for the security (availability, integrity and confidentiality) of all systems and data in use on his/her reporting scope at Saint-Gobain (Region and/or Businesses), and accountable for the one managed by another team (e.g. GDI, web agency, etc.). The Regional CISO works with appropriate levels of management, both regionally and at Group level, to ensure the implementation of Saint-Gobain cybersecurity standards and the monitoring of cybersecurity risks.

Essential Functions:

  • Act as the security of Infrastructure for IT solutions used by all Businesses of the Group in the Region (both Regional and global Businesses)
  • The Regional CISO is liable for evaluating risks, defining strategy and setting up an appropriate governance model on his/her Regional and Business perimeter, with the support of Central Cybersecurity team.
  • Design and implement a cybersecurity roadmap, based on the Group cybersecurity roadmap, Regional and Business specific cybersecurity risks and legal/regulatory local requirements, validation with Region / Business the roadmap, and appropriate reporting.
  • Manage security governance on the Regional and Business perimeter, by defining and setting up the necessary follow-up meetings and communication channels with all Business and IT stakeholders.
  • The Regional CISO oversees the application of security rules and standards on his/her regional and Business perimeter:
  • Ensure that projects are secured-by-design on his/her regional and Business perimeter, according to the Saint-Gobain processes (PSAT, Third parties management security, SIP, risk analysis…)
  • Ensure that all third parties contributing to a project or activity implement the appropriate set of security measures, of security tools, and provide the associated controls
  • The Regional CISO ensures that all operational security actions are carried out on his/her regional and Business perimeter.
  • Coordinate and supervise the management of security incidents and contribute to the resolution of major incidents on the perimeter in conjunction with the relevant teams, in collaboration with CyberSOC teams.
  • Contribute to the development of the Business Continuity Plan (BCP) by providing assistance to the Business in the identification of the business impacts of application unavailability and ensuring that the cyberattack scenario is included in the BCP.
  • Design and implement an awareness strategy (messages, phishing campaigns, etc.) toward all stakeholders of the perimeter, with the support of Central team
  • Follow up on acquisitions and divestitures projects on the perimeter and provide associated KPIs to the central M&A team operating for the Group CISO.

IS THIS JOB FOR YOU?

  • Bachelor’s Degree in information systems, Business Analytics, or related field, required.
  • Chief Information Security Officer should possess a blend of technical acumen, strategic focus, and strong leadership.
  • 10+ years of experience IT leadership experience with significant responsibilities in IT security
