A reliable Material Handler to oversee and maintain warehouse stock, along with staging products based on the needs of the production floor. Assisting with organizing and maintaining existing inventory, while effectively moving inventory and production supplies safely throughout the warehouse. ESSENTIAL DUTIES

• Works closely with Fabrication Supervisor to monitor supply levels and submit purchasing recommendations on a regular basis
• Works closely with Fabrication and Logistics Supervisor to ensure material locations and movements are coordinated.
• Performs material consumption inputs into SAP for department production orders and closes all department production orders after completing a final review for accuracy.
• Maintains inventory by identifying, labeling and placing materials and supplies in stock
• Keep and record accurate locations of inventory, for inventory accuracy
• Move and disposes of scrap material properly while following warehouse safety regulations
• Accountable for adherence to company policies including safety and the use of personnel protective equipment
• Maintain assigned lines in a clean an orderly condition, following all safety policies and procedures including CertainTeed practices to meet company standards
• Keeps the flow of the process moving in a steady pace
• Ensures production floor is safe by inspecting and correcting any unsafe conditions
• Issue material on production orders
• Verify material has been issued out on production orders and close out production orders to receive finish parts into stock
• Move material from staging area’s into stock locations
• Perform cycle counting when necessary.
• Maintain an assigned area of the plant
• Performs other related duties as assigned

• One to three years of experience in manufacturing / production of warehouse / distribution

• Capable of reading and reviewing pick slips and production orders

PREFERRED OR DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Familiar with safety standards for manufacturing environment, including OSHA regulations

Reporting directly to the Maintenance Manager, the Maintenance Electrical Supervisor is responsible for leading and directing the operations of Athens Maintenance Electrical Technicians and Apprentices. The ideal candidate will provide leadership and technical support to the maintenance department covering installations, maintenance, and repairs of all electrical systems. They will ensure safety standards and compliance codes are met, and oversee the training and scheduling of the Electrical Technicians.

The Electrical Supervisor will have past experience in the field of electronics and possess a wide technical knowledge. In this role, the Supervisor will:

• Actively participate in plant safety programs and maintain a knowledge and understanding OSHA requirements, and other safety standards.
• Will actively engage and support electrical technicians to build: solid teamwork ethics, improve morale, knowledge and skills of all assigned technicians.
• Direct and support the Maintenance Electrical Technicians and all other Maintenance employees when their direct supervisor or management resources are not present.
• Oversees the performance of all tasks necessary to troubleshoot, test, calibrate, repair, overhaul, maintain, construct, modify or install electrical equipment components buildings and/or land improvements, including; laying out, setting up or assembling work for Direct Reports.
• Support team and oversee inspections related to equipment damage or defect, diagnosing the corrective action necessary to rectify the malfunction, failure or damage (troubleshooting).
• Observes the operation of maintenance or production equipment in the course of performing the aforementioned tasks to obtain maximum manufacturing efficiency with minimum downtime for maintenance or repair.

• Qualified electrician with five years’ or more experience in an industrial / manufacturing environment (continuous manufacturing preferred)
• Associates Degree or 7 years’ of equivalent experience in the electrical or related field is required.

• Computer systems proficiency in Microsoft applications (Office, Excel, Word, etc).
• SAP and Kronos system experience is strongly preferred.

• Strong communication (written and oral), professional and interpersonal competencies essential to build and develop team members.

Job Goals:

A lead position performing material handling, picking, packing, shipping/receiving and Service Center duties.

Responsibilities:

• Performs delivery and pickup of materials for production work centers per schedule using material handling equipment.
• Prepares freight for shipment by palletizing, banding, boxing, and stretch wrapping as required.
• Break down packaging and put away incoming raw material rolls.
• Maintains warehouse cleanliness and operates compacting equipment.
• Coordinates with Shipping Clerk & Service Center on daily shipping requirements.
• Carry out cycle counts as directed.
• Attends planning meetings as needed and reports on productivity and operational issues.
• Works with the Logistics & Converting Manager to ensure appropriate use of employees for daily tasks.
• Provides work instructions and guidance to staff.
• Assumes duties of Shipping Clerk in absence as needed, this includes domestic and international shipment paperwork and scheduling with carriers.
• Assumes duties of Receiving Clerk in absence as needed, this includes receiving all inventory items, maintaining receiving paperwork and directing incoming traffic.

The Quality Control Technician is responsible for the performance of Quality Control testing, accurate data recording, and documenting compliance to specification of the Hoosick Falls product base. Reporting to our Regional Quality Manager. The incumbent is responsible for leading the quality systems and process control strategy for production-related processes.

They will lead efforts to analyze and reduce process variation, develop preventative measures, and ensure compliance with quality standards. Additionally, they will collaborate with Production, Warranty, Research and Development, Product Management, and other key functional areas to achieve key organizational objectives, with a focus on quality and process control systems.

The Quality Control Supervisor will be responsible for:

• Managing the quality assurance function and its staff within the plant.
• Leading the design and implementation of the plant's quality management system to ensure compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.
• Proactively plan, control, and ensure product and process quality in accordance with established quality principles to eliminate potential sources of failure. This includes planning processes, material control, acceptance sampling, and measurement systems.
• Collaborate with R&D, manufacturing, and product management teams to ensure quality standards are incorporated into new products and processes so that production performance and yield meet required standards.
• Lead the change management process within the plant to identify, prioritize, and mitigate risks associated with planned changes.
• Define and oversee audits of raw materials, products, and processes to ensure finished products meet specified requirements at the time of manufacture and prior to shipment.
• Manage the development, maintenance, and compliance of local standard work documentation, such as quality manuals, procedures, and work instructions.
• Oversee or implement the development of measurement tools for product and process evaluation including calibration.

COMPOUND DEPARTMENT:

• Supervise the compound department and ensure all operations are carried out in compliance with safety and quality standards ensuring that production schedules are met
• Monitor the performance of the compound equipment and collaborate with other departments to take corrective action as needed to maintain optimal productivity.

• Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering or a similar discipline
• Degree or certification in quality control; 2-5 years of relevant experience

With safety as the top priority, the Field Service Technician (FST) is responsible for installation, maintenance, and repair of equipment. Performs troubleshooting services to aid customers in resolving issues and help achieve maximum potential from our solutions. Will be the primary representative at the concrete manufacturing plant. Will install and maintain admixture dispensing systems for each Ready-Mix producer.

The FST will be required to interface regularly with plant management, batch plant operator and personnel. Based at home, the candidate will spend approximately 80% of their time as the only GCP/Chryso employee at the customer sites, thereby requiring candidate to work independently. Schedule flexibility is required. Field visits may be scheduled late at night and/or very early in the morning.

Installation, Maintenance and Repair

• Technical work pertaining to admixture dispensing equipment includes, but is not limited to installation, preventive and scheduled maintenance, calibration, and emergency and service repair
• Coordinate problem resolution with other employees as needed always serving as the local liaison and first line of contact to the customer.

Customer Relations:

• Assist Field Sales Representatives in winning and maintenance of customer contracts by building and maintaining professional relationships with customers by performing regular site visits not necessarily relative to equipment needs or outages.
• Regular site visits to check on admixture levels and customer needs.
• Must have sound judgment, excellent communication &time management skills, & the ability to represent the company with customers in a professional manner.
• Understand the impact of customer satisfaction to achieve corporate goals.

Planning & Scheduling of Dispenser Service Work:

• An independent self-starter, self-directed person who possesses the ability to diagnose and determine requirements, plan and schedule daily, weekly and monthly events in accordance with the needs of the company and the customer.
• Interact directly with internal as well as external customers daily and demonstrate organizational skills, planning skills, customer orientation and project management skills.
• Responsible for managing ‘response time’ consistent with customer expectations or agreement.
• Must be on continuous call to respond to customer requests for assistance; diagnoses and solves technical problems, providing on-site assistance to customer locations for proper application of our equipment/products.

Equipment Service Administration:

Proficient with computers in order to order equipment, Warehouse part re-stocking, Expense reports, Service Management System compliance, Preventative Maintenance, calibration scheduling and compliance, actively control expenses and demonstrate stewardship of company resources, maintain real time participation CRM reporting systems.

Other Duties:

• Complete all safety training & Observe all safety procedures, both of Saint-Gobain & those of host companies.
• Develop a solid understanding of concrete/concrete industry, most importantly the operations of a concrete plant.
• Recommend modifications and product changes to improve reliability of equipment
• Work with R&D providing input to new system designs or researching/testing concept of operation of new parts and providing input to improve reliability & performance

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma or GED
• 4+ years' experience in mechanical/engineering work (1 year of education beyond high school counts as 1 year of experience)
• Experience with computer systems configuration, mechanical systems, pneumatic systems, 12/24-volt DC electrical systems, and hydraulic system principles
• Ability to learn new technology and processes quickly
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Organized and detail oriented, particularly about maintaining records
• Hands on Electro-Mechanical aptitude
• Experience with hand tools, power tools, meters, gauges

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Associates degree
• Experience in field service type work/trailer hauling
• Working knowledge of the Ready-Mix Concrete industry

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be able to lift 50 pounds
• Must be able to wear a respirator and comply with facial hair policy for respirator users
• Must be able to comply with DOT requirements for a Non CDL commercial motor vehicle driver medical certification exam; drug screen, background check (safety performance and driving record)

In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual bonus. The targeted bonus amount is 8% of base salary based on company and individual performance measures. The Total Target Cash range (base pay and annual bonus) for this position, is $64,800 to $78,840. • SAP Assembly & Manufacturing Orders: Create and manage dispenser assembly and manufacturing orders in SAP, including building production assemblies and related functions.
• Cross-Border Shipping: Prepare and manage documentation for international shipments, including parts sent to Canada.
• Warehouse Operations: Support the Operations Warehouse by posting goods receipts and assisting with inventory processes.
• Capital Project Support: Generate Capital I/O numbers (G/Cap) upon request and resolve related issues to maintain high levels of customer service.

Lynchburg Mill is seeking an hourly Entry-Level Production Laborer to train and learn various production positions within the paper mill.

The position reports to the on-shift Production Supervisor, but at times may report to other managers within the mill.

The production laborer is expected to follow all plant safety rules and procedures. This is a shift-based position, and employees are expected to work all shifts as scheduled, including weekends and holidays. Overtime is offered, planned, and unplanned, and employees will be expected to work overtime without notice on rare occasions.

Primary duties include:

• Safely performing a wide range of tasks that include operating forklifts, stacking/moving materials, finishing rolls, material set-up, and maintaining a clean/organized workspace.
• Various other tasks as assigned.
