WHY DO WE NEED YOU ?

The Assembly Operator will perform manual assembly tasks to strict customer requirements. These tasks may include, but not limited to, inserting, working with adhesives, and part marking, of various Thermoplastic and Thermoset parts. • 1+ year of experience working as an Assembly Operator using semi-automated tools such as an engraver unit, pneumatic crimping tool, potting compound preparation and assembly and hydraulic presses • Ability to set up a new job with little to no supervision producing little to no scrap or fall out • Ability to perform all the duties of an Assembly Operator I in addition to training and delegating lower level operators • Assist in identifying quality issues within the cell • Proficient in measuring using calipers, micrometers, height stands, CMM, etc. • Contribute to team effort by performing other supporting tasks as directed by the Production Supervisor or Cell Lead

WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS

• High School diploma, GED or equivalent is preferred • Computer and Math skills • Ability to stand for long periods of time • Ability to work in above ambient temperatures • Maintain high attendance standards • Ability to strictly adhere to written and verbal instructions • Complete all paperwork correctly, legibly and honestly • Maintains work space before, during, and after each scheduled shift in accordance with 5S principles • Contribute towards continuous improvement processes and projects in the areas of output, quality, cost and delivery • Ability escalate problems as they arise within the department • Make quality parts that meet customer specifications and deadlines, with minimal scrap, in a fast paced work environment • Adhere to Saint-Gobain Principles of Conduct and Action and ability to maintain professionalism at all times • This position is subject to export controls under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Maintenance Shift Technician

Reporting directly to the Maintenance Supervisor, the Maintenance Shift Technician is required to support the maintenance organization and process, the Maintenance Shift Technician is responsible for ensuring plant equipment performs reliably. The technician will be working closely with other Maintenance Teams and Production personnel to ensure the plant equipment performs to the need of the plant. The Maintenance Manager will define other duties and responsibilities.

This position will work an assigned Night shift schedule (8 or 12 hrs.)

 

WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS?

  • Demonstrated mechanical or electrical knowledge.
  • Knowledge of plant equipment operation and maintenance requirements.
  • Knowledge of Preventive and Predictive maintenance practices.
  • Highly engaged in World Class Manufacturing processes and improvements
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Strong computer skills. (Microsoft Outlook and Excel)

Education and/or Experience: Five years related industrial maintenance experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Must have ability to operate electronic calculator to accomplish these tasks.

Reasoning Ability: Ability to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

  • Must have basic computer literacy in order to enter production data daily.

This role supports operational efficiency and customer satisfaction by identifying defects, ensuring compliance with specifications, and documenting quality outcomes.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform incoming inspection of raw materials including aluminum coils, films, and hardware components.
  • Conduct in-process inspections including measurements of panel length, open width, face width, squareness, camber, and hole patterns.
  • Execute final inspections for surface quality, edge condition, coating quality, labeling, and packaging compliance.
  • Calibrate and maintain inspection tools such as calipers, tape measures, micrometers, height gauges, and color readers.
  • Document inspection results, communicate findings to production and quality teams, and escalate non-conformances
  • Participate in root cause analysis, corrective/preventive actions, and continuous improvement efforts.

CE TRAVAIL VOUS CONVIENT-IL?

  • Excellente connaissance du processus de production ainsi que du chariot élévateur et de la grue;
  • Certification en électricité ou mécanique industrielle (atout);
