What's the job?

The Account Manager, Solar serves as the first line of contact between customers and the business. This role will have the responsibility for providing homeowner layouts and proposals for Solstice Shingle opportunities, managing and achieving an assigned sales objective of the CT Solar Solutions portfolio, responding to customer questions and inquiries, proactively engaging active and prospective customers, lead prospecting and qualification, initial assessment generation, and providing customer feedback to the internal team.

The role will involve multi-tasking on many different levels in a commercial/Sales capacity for the CT Solar Solutions business. The role will be an integral part of the sales organization. Major objectives will be to qualify, manage and follow up on new leads (from website, call centers, tradeshows and other sources), actively follow up on contractor onboarding and installation processes, reporting results and initiating actions. This role will work hand-in-hand with the sales and customer success organizations and ensure all activities are documented and tracked in the CRM tool. An employee in this position must focus on customers' expectations, responding in real-time to inquiries, prevent problems (and elevate them to the appropriate management level, when needed), and strive for continuous improvement resulting in improved results for themselves, customers and the overall business.

  • Screen, prospect, qualify, manage, and follow up with new leads (homeowners, contractors/installers, distributors, architects, builders) - 50%
  • Document and manage Sales Force pipeline - 10%
  • Provide adequate support to customers, including responding to inquiries, providing and following up on end consumer leads, and generating estimation or initiative assessment quotes - 40%

Certain states require pay information be provided in job postings. The national pay range for this position is $70,000 to $108,000 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.

In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual bonus. The targeted bonus amount is 9% of base salary based on company and individual performance measures. The total target cash range (base pay and annual bonus) for this position, is $76,300 to $117,700.

Production Operators are responsible for the safe, efficient operation of various manufacturing equipment to produce metal seals to close tolerance specifications. Our Production Operators have overall responsibility for the quality of their product and must have excellent attention to detail with regards to form, fit and function.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Perform specific metal fabrication operations as specified by supervisor
  • Read and interpret process sheets/work instructions to perform assigned tasks
  • Set up and operate both die forming and roll forming equipment
  • Measure work piece dimensions to ensure accuracy to blueprint
  • Work with manufacturing engineers and other production operators to resolve production issues
  • Work safely at all times.
  • Performs other duties as assigned

IS THIS JOB FOR YOU?

  • High School or equivalent level of training and experience.
  • At least (3) years’ experience as a manufacturing operator is highly preferred
  • Experience with metal fabrication processes such as die forming, roll forming, welding strongly desired
  • Press operation and setup strongly desired
  • Experience with basic measuring equipment such as calipers or micrometers
  • Experience reading and interpreting job instructions and blueprints

We are hiring a Production Shift Lead - Second Shift (3pm to 11 pm), Monday to Friday, to join our team in Orange. The Shift Lead is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the shift covering all production departments. The individual will execute the company’s plan covering all aspects of employee safety, product quality, customer experience, and production efficiency.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Execute a routine of standard daily work to facilitate plant operations
  • Maintain a safe production environment for all operators, staff, and contractors
  • Adherence to Total Quality principles
  • Executes the production plan
  • Training of hourly employees
  • Ensure SOPs are followed for all processes and equipment
  • On-shift maintenance scheduling

  • Act as the management representative and first responder in the event of a safety or production incident

WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS?

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent level of training and experience (Required)
  • 1-2 Years of Manufacturing Supervision Experience (Preferred)
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in a manufacturing environment is required.
  • Proficient with measuring equipment (Required)
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, project management, and organizational skills (Required)
  • Knowledge of equipment and processes (Preferred)
  • Proficient computer skills (Microsoft office, spreadsheet software, and Production Management Software e.g. QAD) (Required)
  • Must be able to work well in a team environment, adapt to change, and obtain the ability to influence in a positive manner (Required)
  • Strong interpersonal skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and strong computer skills.
  • Must have critical thinking skills, using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses or alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems. Must be a strategic thinker and have a strong focus on profitability (Required)

Responsibilities:

  • Active participation and support of plant safety and environmental
  • Safe production meeting legal and environmental requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with Standard Work
  • Problem solve through root cause analysis
  • Confer with plant personnel to maintain production and quality control standards as well as budget and cost controls.
  • Report at the end of each shift on the types, quantities, specifications, and other key data on products produced during the shift.
  • Consult with maintenance personnel relative to troubleshooting and maintenance of machines and equipment to achieve production and quality goals daily.
  • Resolve employee concerns/complaints and refer unresolved issues for further investigation and resolution.
  • Ensure performance evaluations and operator training development plans are completed for employees.
  • Ensure new employees are properly onboarded.
  • Make certain employees maintain the necessary skills and knowledge to safely and competently perform their jobs.
  • Priorities for products in keeping with effective operations and cost factors.
  • Ensures consistent and fair application of plant policies, as defined by the employee handbook, throughout the department.

Extruder Operator Helper Trainee

WHY DO WE NEED YOU?

The Extruder Operator Trainee is primarily responsible to pack product and assist in production line operations. They must be able to maintain a well-organized and clean work station as well as update required documentation to ensure a quality product. Dependability, reliability, as well as teamwork with co-workers is an essential part of this job. All operations will be under supervision from Helper Trainers and Supervisors during the training period.

Shift: Night Shift 6PM-6AM 2/2/3 Schedule

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Perform job in a safe manner following all rules, regulations, and training. Perform daily safety inspections and report all unsafe conditions or Near Miss events immediately. Wear all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required, including designated PPE for Trainees. Use hand tools as intended. Follow all environmental and housekeeping requirements, properly dispose of trash, regularly sweep keeping material, oil and water off floors and keep contaminated material from entering process water system. Ensure that the line is cleaned during and prior to the end of the work shift.

Package product per specification under supervision of Helper Trainers and Supervisors - make boxes, correctly code labels, properly configure and nest product, glue and secure packaging, configure and build product onto pallet, insert slip sheets, band product to pallet and insure that product is secure before warehousing.

Assist in the operation of production lines. Assist in line checks and look for product defects. Manage pigment containers, regrind totes, ASA boxes, material hoses to the silos, daybins, and hoppers.

Operate peripheral line equipment – online grinder, scrap cutter, and boxing table. Assist in clearing jam-ups of material from machine works, pull and segregate bacon strips, manage line sags, purge out lines, re-string lines, assist in product and color changes, assist in changing sizers, and properly segregate and rack regrind and isolate contaminated material to scrap. Ensure inventory of boxes, banding, glue, and labels is maintained on line. Change over boxing table during product changes.

Perform to all quality expectations, isolate/ report all defects, ensure that the product meets all dimensional and cosmetic standards, abide by all ISO 9001 systems, adhere to all MADE standards and follow SPC guidelines under guidance of Helper Trainers and Supervisors

Accuracy - Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly is essential.

Communication (Oral) - Ability to communicate with Supervisor, Extruder Operator and Set-ups, co- workers and managers effectively is essential.

The Role

What’s the job?

The incumbent is responsible for all production activities on the assigned production line. The incumbent will manage and direct the activities of the production line and personnel to efficiently produce quality products.  The incumbent is held accountable to ensure production activities are carried out in compliance with all environmental, health, and safety requirements, policies, and procedures.

Develops the knowledge, skills, and abilities of their crew by acting as a coach and mentor. Decision making responsibilities for all functions of the plants during off-shift hours, such as production, maintenance, logistics, and quality. Placing priority on taking care of their employees and ensure that daily human resource issues are timely and consistent (payroll, recognition, accountability, etc.). Train and develop production crews to safely produce quality-roofing products in an efficient manner, monitoring production processes. Consistently and equitably, enforce plant rules, holding crewmembers accountable for all facets of their jobs, including housekeeping and 5s standards.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Supervise and direct all Production activities for assigned lines to ensure that products are produced to meet or exceed all established process specifications and quality requirements. Confer with departments heads to coordinate and establish work schedules, assignments and production requirements for operations and activities within or between departments.
  • Manage the crew through direct report to efficiently pass along important information.
  • Observe work and monitor to ensure production or processing standard performance. Assist in troubleshooting and problem solving. Interprets production specifications and determines the acceptability of production that is in process.
  • Responsible for the support of activities such as Maintenance and Engineering.
  • Working knowledge and understanding of product manual and manufacture all products within specification.
  • Maintain communication with Production Manager and Planner to assure production requirements are understood.
  • Responsible for ensuring accuracy and consistency in production reporting in business Enterprise systems.
  • Provides input and collaboration as part of the plant operations management team.
  • Must advise and counsel Production crew members effectively, utilize progressive discipline, taking corrective actions when warranted, and includes HR when higher levels of progressive discipline are to be used.
  • Works with HR to determine hiring needs, attends job fairs, makes decisions on who to hire for their respective team.
  • Report all EH&S incidents – Injuries/Recordables, Near Misses, First Aid, Environmental and Property/Equipment Damage.

WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS?

  • BS Degree Engineering preferred
  • 5 to 7 years supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
  • This position requires an understanding of the production operation and its practices and procedures, as well as a high level of human relation’s skills to develop and motivate subordinates.

The Milk Runner Assistant role will support the manufacturing process by bringing materials/components to the appropriate production lines for Sekurit.

 

Key Accountabilities:

  • Restocks and organizes inventory on shelves; includes opening new pallets and re palletizing as needed.
  • Prepares chemicals for all lines (according Kanbans and milkrun route), maintains chemical consumption log and visual management of lot numbers
  • Prepares picking area on shelves; manages batch / lot in SAP. Issues inventory to production in SAP
  • Oversees Kanban and waste collection activities in Production and the General Warehouse
  • Brings chemical drums to hazmat storage
  • Stocks General Warehouse shelves, including opening new pallets, re-palletizing as needed
  • Manages FIFO and ensures lot numbers are marked and displayed on all strategic components. Coordinate changes with production, Production plan, Label requirements, Special campaigns

Certain states require pay information to be provided in job postings. The national pay range for this position is $24.65 to $34.51 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, among other factors.

In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual bonus.
