  • Incident Management: Lead investigations, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions to eliminate hazards.
  • Safety Program Ownership: Manage programs such as ProAct and GenSuite, ensuring communication and adoption across the plant.
  • Employee Engagement: Build an involved workforce that actively participates in safety initiatives.
  • Environmental Stewardship: Manage permitting and compliance while advancing plant environmental goals.
  • Audit Leadership: Coordinate audits, develop corrective and preventive actions, and raise environmental awareness.
  • Workers’ Compensation: Partner with HR to administer claims, controls, and hearings for work-related injuries.
  • Emergency Preparedness: Maintain and update response and business continuity plans for various scenarios.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner across departments to identify hazards, update Risk Assessments, JSAs, and MOC processes.
  • Continuous Improvement: Regularly review and enhance safety measures, address ergonomic risks, and strengthen MOC completion.
  • Subject Matter Expertise: Serve as the plant’s EHS expert, guiding innovative solutions that strengthen overall safety culture.

  • Four-year degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
  • Five years’ experience in Safety, Environmental management, or related field.
  • Three years in manufacturing industry or high volume distribution
  • Understands safety beyond lost time injury metrics.
  • Experience as culture champion and change agent for involvement and engagement in EHS programs.
  • Skilled in root cause analysis processes (5Y, Fishbone, etc.)
  • Professional certifications and licenses, such as:
    • American Society of Safety Engineers;
    • National Safety Council; or
    • SWPPP Operator/SARA/CERCLA/RCRA certified through a nationally-recognized

Territory Manager - Central Valley CA

The Territory Manager (TM) for CertainTeed Exterior Products is responsible for sales growth of CertainTeed’s (CT) portfolio of Roofing and Siding products and systems by generating sustained demand and positioning CT as the preferred choice among owner, architect, builder, contractor, and distribution customer audiences in a manner consistent with CertainTeed’s strategic direction.

  • Works collaboratively with Regional Sales Manager to deliver sales growth and sustained demand.
  • Meets Performance Objectives and Incentive Sales Goals as determined by management.
  • Achieves specifications for Value Added Products (VAP) and increases project closing rate in the residential market.
  • Develops and implements territory strategy consistent with the overall business to maximize quality / effectiveness and quantity of sales calls.
  • Calls on end-users, contractors, builders, architects/specifiers, owners and homebuilders creating a “pull-through” demand, subsequently working with distribution customers to close related sales.
  • Actively targets and tracks construction projects from planning through bidding phases to maximize closing rates using company provided tools.
  • Builds, maintains and adds value to relationships between customers and CT’s organization; customers include all audiences, including owners, specifiers, contractors, distributors, etc.
  • Conducts and participates in sales promotions and educational meeting with architects, contractors, builders and builder sales representative, applicators, distributors and other trade factors.

What do you bring? 

  • Bachelor’s degree in architecture, marketing, business or similar discipline. OR Comparable experience in lieu of a degree - Five (5) years of equivalent training and experience that provides thorough knowledge of the laws, regulations and practices concerned with the field of construction 
  • 4+ years of applied professional experience which includes managing customer relationships, sales presentations and closings of sales 
  • Knowledge of residential construction practices.

In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual bonus. The targeted bonus amount is 45% of base salary based on company and individual performance measures. The Total Target Cash range (base pay and annual bonus) for this position, is $101,500 to $152,200. SIOP Demand PLanner

The goal of a Planner at SG Wayne is to strategize, drive accuracy between customer forecast and inventory levels. The primary focus of this role is to maximize cash flow by predicting accurate sales and services levels through an effective implementation of SIOP Process (sales/inventory/operations planning).

This position maintains a constant relationship with the sales, customer service, finance, purchasing and manufacturing teams to understand the demand forecasting drivers. You will challenge the forecasts from the sales teams and the usual runs with relevant data analysis. Improve the forecasts accuracy with transversal coordination actions and updates of the Supply Chain Planning tool. Be responsible for running, analyzing and reviewing reports pertaining to forecast accuracy and adjust POs accordingly and communicate changes and analyze and track freight spend at the site and optimize shipments to maintain correct inventory levels and manage freight spend.

IS THIS JOB FOR YOU?

  • Bachelors degree in Manufacturing, Supply Chain or other related field required.
  • 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment in a planning, master scheduling and production scheduling capacity. Understanding of JIT, Time Based Manufacturing, BOM’s, routings and planning parameters is essential. Understanding how SIOP works and able to implement such is required.
  • Excellent computer skills with emphasis on Excel and familiarity with MRP/ERP software systems is necessary as well as excellent analytical skills, combined with good oral and written communication skills.
  • Having excellent organization, planning, and follow up skills will lead to success at this position.

Essential functions will include:

Upstream management:

  • Being a key member of the New Job Report process by maintaining a constant relationship with the sales, marketing, finance, sourcing and manufacturing teams to understand the demand forecasting drivers.
  • Effectively Challenging the forecasts from the sales teams and the usual runs (historical data, seasonality, market trends, special offers, budgets…) with relevant data analysis.
  • Improve the forecasts accuracy (statistical models, software…) with transversal coordination actions and updates of the Supply Chain Planning tool.

Analysis:

  • Analyze quantity and financial forecasts.
  • Report of forecasts and inventory KPIs.
  • SIOP Meeting with the team on a Quarterly basis and effective usage of SIOP tool for Wayne
  • Follow inventory level and implement and improvement plans. Work with Category Manager to provide accurate information for global consolidation of raw material.
  • Analyze freight spend and implement appropriate consolidations for optimizing costs.

In process Management

  • Maintain item master, BOM, routing and other system data, particular with respect to planning and purchasing.

Downstream management:

  • Coordinate the customer projects with Supply Planning.
  • Manage Inventory levels.
  • Communicate the product inventory strategies (high runners, new products, substitutions, end life…) to the Supply Planning team.
  • Tune the forecasts and inventory rules according to the demand and market trends.
  • Generate, review and analyze actual demand vs. forecast demand. Assess data, trends and update forecast as needed.

The Quality Control Supervisor will independently supervise the Quality Technicians and ensure they complete their functions of DHR review/release, inspections (e.g., incoming, in process and final inspections), environmental monitoring, CAPA, root cause analysis, training, and compliance. Additionally the Quality Supervisor will support the Quality Engineering team with complaint investigations, CAPAs and other quality functions. A successful Quality Control Supervisor is a trusted partner to the quality and manufacturing processes, and a go-to resource for quality technician’s and other quality support functions. The Quality Supervisor will ensure the quality technicians complete their task on time and meet established KPIs. The Quality Control Supervisor will coordinate and prioritize the quality technician tasks, such as, review and verify that the Device History Record (DHR) meets all expectations and ensure Good Documentation Practices were followed. The inspections (incoming, in-process, and final) are completed with a high level of detail to ensure our raw materials, work-in-progress, and final products meet the highest quality standards and ensure the form, fit, and function of our products meet all blueprint specifications. Lastly, the Quality Control Supervisor is a trusted resource for quality technician team and responsible for their quality training and performance.
