We are presently looking for an experienced and result-driven Territory Sales Manager-Ottawa for our retail and wholesale market.

Here’s what you’ll be responsible for in this role

Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, a Territory Sales Manager is responsible for gaining market share in the assigned territory. Primary duties include selling, prospecting customers, servicing and growing sales to existing accounts, attending trade shows, conducting product presentations, and maintaining superior customer relations. This position is primarily focused on increasing sales, customer procurement and retention.

 

Responsibilities:

  • To sell company products and actively manage assigned customer accounts.
  • Provide superior customer service to all existing and potential customers.
  • To become a product expert and actively use the knowledge to grow sales.
  • To establish and maintain key industry and business relationships.
  • To identify and solicit new business opportunities, including cold calling.
  • To inform client base of all marketing initiatives and promotions.
  • To inform and train operations staff on product and sales knowledge.
  • To participate and aid in the product training of new employees;
  • To utilize the technical tools available in order to provide the sales team customer information, sales call information, competitive market analysis and planning (e.g., as sales reports, CRM programs, etc).
  • Collaborate with marketing department on all facets of product marketing, social media initiatives and all related sales activity.

SUMMARY

The Utility Worker generally drives a forklift for the completion of job responsibilities. Such vehicle is used to transport goods and materials to various locations on-site as support to operations.

  • Second Shift

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE

Materials & Products

  • Operates a forklift for pick-up and delivery of materials and goods.

Equipment

  • Uses fork truck and pallet jacks when moving raw and finished materials to operators and for loading/unloading trucks.
  • Uses carousel and core cut machines as required by individual work orders.
  • May infrequently use small hand tools.

Procedures

  • Utilizes fork truck to obtain large, heavy (100 lb. – 2500 lb.), raw materials and cores from the warehouse based on pending work orders and delivers to appropriate machine. Requires moving forklift within tight spaces.
  • Unloads materials from fork lift onto a push cart, moves cart by hand and prepares rolls to be loaded on coating and converting machines by removing end plates and plastic.
  • Manages inventory through automated system, Queen Anne Drive (QAD), by scanning bar codes prior to and following movement of product.
  • Monitors machine production and pending work orders to determine appropriate movement of product by removing material from storage and placing in staging areas.
  • Moves finished product by hand or with assistance of fork lift to shipping area or warehouse for next step in finishing process.
  • Participates in weekly cycle count to verify inventory.
  • Weighs and disposes of scrap bins when necessary.
  • May assist in receiving/shipping.

Detects and eliminates or minimizes safety hazards.

WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS?

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING TIME

  • A minimum of high school degree or equivalent is required.
  • Fork truck operating license also required.
  • Training time is typically up to 3 months to be proficient in all phases of the job to work independently.

  • Lead a network of 35 Authorized Order Placers, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary tools and training to effectively manage device ordering processes. Place orders for businesses that don’t have an Authorized Order Placer.
  • Ensure that all Mobility Program activities adhere to the organization’s corporate standards and industry best practices, maintaining documentation and reporting where required.
  • Work closely with finance teams to ensure that mobility-related expenditures are accounted for and aligned with budget forecasts.
  • Document all existing and new processes related to the North American Mobility program. Establish protocols for how devices are ordered, managed, and disposed of.

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Business Administration, or a related field.

The IT Services Manager is responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality IT services across multiple teams, including IT Escalation and Quality, Process Improvement Analysts, and Service Delivery Coordinators.   • Maintain and evolve our PC master image(s) for distribution to depots and USS.
  • Keep PC depot imaging up to date while ensuring no downtime during business hours.
  • Manage Group Policies to implement requested changes to specific user populations.

Process Improvement

  • Direct the work of Process Improvement Analysts to analyze existing processes, identify inefficiencies, and propose enhancements. 
  • Use data analysis methods/tools and reporting to inform decisions and drive initiatives aimed at improving service quality and operational effectiveness.
  • Produce and regularly update technical documents, such as service policies, standard operational procedures, and user guides, ensuring they are accessible and user-friendly. 
  • Analyze documents to maintain accessibility and continuity of style of content.
    Identify and track gaps in knowledge, working with multiple teams to ensure the article is written in a timely manner.

Service Delivery

  • Work closely with Service Delivery Coordinators to ensure timely and accurate fulfilment of service requests. 
  • Act as the primary interface between ITSM Vendor and SGC regions.
  • Facilitate communication between the service desk and other IT support teams to streamline operations.
  • Create and regularly update IT service management policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with industry standards such as ITIL. 
  • Lead efforts to standardize service delivery across teams to enhance consistency and reliability.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement through regular analysis of service delivery metrics and customer feedback. 

Project Management

  • Develop project plans for initiatives related to service delivery enhancements and process improvements. 
  • Monitor project milestones, deliverables, and timelines, ensuring projects stay on track and within budget.
  • Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders, including IT staff, management, and business users, to understand their needs and expectations. 
  • Act as a liaison between the IT department and other business units to facilitate effective service delivery.

Team Performance

  • Regularly assess team performance against established KPIs, providing constructive feedback and support. Assist team members with building their individual development plans.
  • Ensure that customer needs are considered in line with the strategy defined by GDI Group.
  • Handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits; follow up to ensure resolution.

The Quality Technician Calibration - Coordinate, execute and document all required calibrations for Site 711 and 712 in accordance with established procedures, specifications, and calibration intervals and AS9100 requirements.

  • Responsible for coordinating and maintaining all aspects of the calibration system for OmniSeals and Life Sciences SBUs
  • Inspect, repair and calibrate instruments and equipment
  • Schedule shipments to subcontractors and schedule onsite subcontracted calibrations.
  • Collect tools for onsite subcontracted calibration.
  • Collect and prep tools being shipped to subcontractors for calibration.
  • Review calibration certificates for accuracy, write up any non-conforming items.
  • Obtain quotes, create material requests, manage purchase orders and invoices.
  • Create excel spreadsheets to notify departments of upcoming calibrations and items due; return gauges to their proper location once calibrated.

IS THIS JOB FOR YOU?

  • GED/HS Diploma (preferred)
  • Must have 2 years Quality Technician/Calibration experience (required)
  • Must have an understanding of ISO9001/AS9100 QMS requirements as they relate to calibration Preferred
  • Certification to perform calibrations is preferred.

Field Service Technician

WHY DO WE NEED YOU?

***While this position is remote, candidates must live in the Houston, Texas area***

With safety as the top priority, the Field Service Technician (FST) is responsible for installation, maintenance, and repair of equipment. Performs troubleshooting services to aid customers in resolving issues and help achieve maximum potential from our solutions. Will be the primary representative at the concrete manufacturing plant. Will install and maintain admixture dispensing systems for each Ready-Mix producer.

The FST will be required to interface regularly with plant management, batch plant operator and personnel. Based at home, the candidate will spend approximately 80% of their time as the only GCP/Chryso employee at the customer sites, thereby requiring candidate to work independently. Schedule flexibility is required. Field visits may be scheduled late at night and/or very early in the morning.

Installation, Maintenance and Repair

  • Technical work pertaining to admixture dispensing equipment includes, but is not limited to installation, preventive and scheduled maintenance, calibration, and emergency and service repair
  • Coordinate problem resolution with other employees as needed always serving as the local liaison and first line of contact to the customer.

Customer Relations:

  • Assist Field Sales Representatives in winning and maintenance of customer contracts by building and maintaining professional relationships with customers by performing regular site visits not necessarily relative to equipment needs or outages.
  • Regular site visits to check on admixture levels and customer needs.

Other Duties:

Jockey Driver

WHY DO WE NEED YOU?

The Jockey driver is primarily responsible to efficiently operate over the road tractor or yard truck with curtain-side van or box trailer, maintain well organized and clean tractor cab and update required documentation to insure DOT compliance.   • Ensure that the van or box trailer is properly and fully loaded and that paperwork is completed and routed properly. Inspect tractor, yard truck, curtain-side vans and box trailer daily to insure full operational condition.
  • Perform daily safety inspection and report all unsafe conditions or Near Miss events immediately. Wear all PPE as required. Use hand tools as intended. Follow all DOT over the road regulations and insure that tractor and yard truck are in good operating order.
  • Perform job in a safe manner following all Plant and DOT rules/ regulations and training.
  • Perform basic mechanical services and fuel tractor as required. Maintain valid required DOT licensing that includes annual physical, random substance screen and motor vehicle records check.

Work Schedule:  2-2-3 (12 hours shift Continental)

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS

  • Provide production support by wrapping pallets and ability to use a forklift to move production to the correct storage locations.
  • Accountable for the administration of operational processes for all production, forklift inspections, incident reports, reporting equipment defects, complying with food safety program and any other processes in the designated production operation.
  • Communicates with previous or incoming shift regarding any challenges and opportunities on the production lines to prepare for the shift.
  • Operates equipment, palletizer, packers, and/or drives a forklift, heavy equipment onsite to assist production operations
  • Maintain a clean work area, fill hoppers for production with appropriate raw materials.
  • Ability to hand-stack 50/40 lbs bags when needed for reworks or normal production as needed

Additional Responsibilities may include:

  • Unloads and loads finished products and raw materials from trucks throughout shift, when needed.
  • Assists for cycle counts of raw and finished goods on a monthly basis.
  • Responsible to confirm truck weight is within legal weight limits and make adjustments if needed.
  • Assists shipping and receiving by checking in and out trucks in the system (SAP) as necessary.
  • Internal Controls Responsibility: Internal controls are a vital part of duties and responsibilities of this job. As part of this position, the person in this role is required to read the procedures and sign off that they read and understand the duties/responsibilities.
