Material Handler in the Wayne, NJ Plant.

10am - 6:30pm, Monday - Friday

 

Scope: Maintain inventory of all assigned product. Pick, pack, and prepare product and necessary documentation for shipment, as specified by SOPs and work instructions.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Unload/receive products, materials, and supplies from trucks according to SOPs, work instructions, and/or direction from the supervisor.
  • Able to data entry customer paperwork into computer systems
  • Process import/export documentation as required
  • Receive work orders and move material to proper locations as instructed.
  • Place finished product into inventory or ship to customer according to instructions on sales order paperwork.
  • Perform weekly cycle counts and verify counts when directed by supervisor.
  • Verify counts and proper part numbers and enter into computer system.
  • Maintain first-in, first-out inventory rotation practice.
  • Participate in physical inventory counts, according to SOP’s and as directed by supervisor.
  • Communicate and cooperate with fellow employees to maintain quality, operational efficiency, and safety.
  • Generate receipt travelers from computer system and verify accuracy of information.
  • File sales orders, copies of shipping memos, UPS daily log, and bills of lading.
  • Responsible for sample production pulls for Applications customers as requested by Applications Team.
  • Clean and maintain machinery, tools, and work area as scheduled or as needed.
  • Maintain necessary records as required by SOP’s and work instructions.
  • Visually observe, troubleshoot, and report non-conformance condition (either product or process) to supervisor, or manager as required.
  • Participate in self-development and training of others.
  • Perform other related duties as required or as directed by supervisor, manager and/or lead person.
  • Exhibits safety awareness and safe work practices.
  • Understand all environmental policies and significant environmental impact of job activities in accordance with the ISO 14001 standard.

WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS?

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Excellent computer skills – basic knowledge of excel and word
  • Able to operate independently and as a part of a team.
  • Basic command of the English language, written and verbal.
  • Able to read and follow SOPs, labels, and instructions.
  • Mathematical abilities necessary to fulfill requirements of position.
  • Saint-Gobain “Certified” forklift operator.
  • Proficient in department specific machines.
  • Able to handle heavy, bulky items manually.
  • Hazardous Material Shipment Training.

We believe in the importance of pay transparency in what we offer potential candidates. Provided is the pay rate for this position which is $26 per hour.  This hourly pay rate offered can vary depending on location, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. In addition to the hourly base pay rate, this position is eligible for an annual bonus. The targeted bonus amount can be up to 10% of hourly rate based on company and individual performance measures. The total annual target cash range (Hourly Pay Rate plus Bonus, annualized (40 hrs/week * 52wks)) for this position is $53,500 to $65,400.  Bonus payments are part of variable compensation and by nature can vary based on company and individual performance and is not a guarantee.

 

Additional Pay Incentives for This Role Include:

  • Standard Overtime (Hourly rate * 1.5)

The Senior Sales Compensation Analyst supports core sales operations functions for the CertainTeed Exterior Products Sales team. This individual is responsible for the design, analysis, and administration of sales incentive programs, with a focus on aligning compensation structures to business goals and driving high performance. Our primary platform for managing sales incentives is Salesforce SPIFF—experience with this tool is a plus, but not required. The ideal candidate is passionate about leveraging sales data to uncover insights and make recommendations that influence sales behavior in alignment with organizational strategy. This is a highly cross-functional role, requiring close collaboration with internal departments and the sales force.

Sales Compensation Support

  • Design and evaluate sales compensation plans that align with business strategy and drive desired behaviors.
  • Process payments for sales incentives accurately and timely, ensuring compliance with established policies and procedures.
  • Support annual planning processes including quota setting, territory alignment, and plan rollout.
  • Train and support sales teams on plan understanding and compensation tools.
  • Provide support to the sales team by addressing commission-related inquiries.

Data Analysis and Modeling

  • Analyze sales data to identify trends, patterns, and performance metrics and communicate findings.
  • Model plan scenarios based on ad-hoc requests to be used to help in decision making situations.

Sales Compensation Administrative Work

  • Onboarding Coordination: Manage all phases of the onboarding process as it relates to compensation, including system setup, access provisioning, and serving as the primary point of contact for onboarding-related inquiries and resource requests.
  • Sales Rep Data Management: Maintain and update sales representative records, including roles, territories, and compensation plan assignments.
  • HR Collaboration: Partner with HR to gather necessary information for commission processing and ensure contractual documents align with company policies and structures.
  • Manage the creation of plan document and contracts, administer to participants and maintain version control and acknowledgments.
  • Support communication efforts to ensure transparency and awareness of changes or updates.

  • Compare internal orders with packing lists. Verifying/Receiving/inspecting and signing for shipment and courier deliveries. Unpack, inspect, sort and put stock away in appropriate locations.
  • Load and unload trailers and operate material handling equipment such as forklift or pallet jacks.
  • Conduct inventory cycle counts, maintain and organize inventory, ensure stock is in the correct location while keeping the warehouse clean and safe.
  • Communicate with the Supervisor regarding low stock items, and document and report any damage or deficiencies immediately.
  • Ensure the proper use of PPE and always adhere to safety protocols.
  • Maintain safety compliance when operating material handling equipment, perform daily inspection of forklift prior to use, and report any unsafe work conditions that may arise.
  • Complete other warehouse duties as required

Primary Functions:
The Loader/Forklift operator is accountable for the safe and efficient operation of the vehicle and may also be required to perform order filler and checker duties.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist with unloading inbound shipments safely and move product to storage locations.

  • Efficiently move product from staging areas into rail cars or trailers.
  • Use radio frequency equipment for picking, receiving, put away, and load functions, as required.
    Maintain the facility’s equipment and materials in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion.
  • On a daily basis, inspect and perform minor maintenance on the forklift or other equipment.
  • Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner following prescribed work methods.
  • Keep appropriate records and reports to guarantee that tight inventory control and security are maintained.
  • Comply with OSHA and MSDS Standards to unload and load shipments safely.
  • Assist with proper stock rotation.
  • Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area.
  • Assist in maintaining the security and cleanliness of warehouse.
  • Maintain all required paperwork associated with the product and process.
  • Must be forklift certified and maintain valid certification.

What’s the job?

Reporting directly to the Maintenance Manager, the Process Control Technician is primarily responsible for maintaining the systems instrumentation with limited interruption to the plant’s production requirements. The Process Control Technician programs the central control systems and associated equipment and provides technical assistance to the Electricians and works closely with production in perfecting trends, reporting, control, alarms and displays. The Process Control Technician is also responsible for setting a high standard for safety, quality, housekeeping, productivity, and performance for all plant associates.

  • Optimize and maintain plant PLC systems and plant control instruments
  • Optimize and maintain the Human Machine Interface (HMI) and all connected instruments, working closely with Production, perfecting trends, reporting, control, alarms and displays
  • Assist in the development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for systems and process systems
  • Provide technical support and knowledge to hourly Maintenance/Electrical Technicians in an effort to reduce costs and improve efficiency
  • Ensure conformance with Automation, IT and corporation guidelines
  • Successfully implement assigned capital projects in a timely manner and within budget constraints

The Molding Operator will set-up, operate and maintain direct form molding presses and tools. Adhere to work order while maintaining high safety standards. • Solid Mechanical ability and ability to apply basic shop math. • Must be able to read and understand Blueprints, verbal and written instructions and possess good communication skills. • Ability to work in a self-inspection environment and be able to meet demands of common LEAN / WCM practices such as data collection, meeting daily output goals, and 5S standards. • Must possess the ability to use all standard machine shop measuring tools such as micrometers, verniers, bore micrometers, and gages. • Must follow safe work practice and be proactive in resolving or alerting supervision to safety issues. • Able to handle multiple and diverse tasks with minimum supervision; willingness to be flexible with job responsibilities and working hours. • Ability to work effectively with others in a team environment is required. • Supports World Class Manufacturing activities including autonomous work teams. • Basic PC and SAP knowledge desired.

WHY DO WE NEED YOU?

Mixer operates or tends machines and/or manually mixes or re-screens materials such as abrasive grains, ceramic materials, chemicals, resins and/or other compounds to prepare mix for use on the manufacturing floor.
