The Commercial Territory Manager (CTM) for the Thermal and Acoustic Solutions Group is responsible for sales growth of cementitious fire protection and thermal/acoustical cellulose insulation portfolio by generating sustained demand and maintaining positioning as the preferred choice among owners, architects, builders, and subcontractors. The ideal candidate for this position will be located in Florida, North Carolina, or South Carolina near a major airport..

 

  • Works collaboratively with the Commercial District Sales Manager and Business Unit Director to deliver sales growth and sustained demand.
  • Meets Performance Objectives and Incentive Sales Goals as determined by management.
  • Develops and implements territory strategy consistent with the overall business to maximize quality / effectiveness and quantity of sales calls.
  • Calls on architects/specifiers, owners and general contractors creating a “pull-through” demand, while subsequently working with direct sales customers/applicators to close related projects.
  • Actively targets and tracks construction projects from planning through bidding phases to maximize closing rates using company provided tools.
  • Builds, maintains and adds value to relationships between customers and our organization; customers include all audiences, including owners, specifiers, contractors, distributors, etc.
  • Conducts and participates in sales promotions and educational meetings with architects, contractors, builders and builder sales representative, applicators and other trade factors.
  • Travel to project sites to assist applicators in maximizing the use and efficiency of portfolio products.

IS THIS JOB FOR YOU?

•    Bachelor’s degree in architecture, marketing, business or similar discipline
•    At least 5 years of professional experience which includes managing customer relationships, sales presentations and closings of sales 
•    Knowledge of commercial construction practices
•    Demonstrated ability to establish rapport and build quality relationships through networking
•    Good interpersonal, negotiating and problem-solving skills
•    Excellent presentation skills with good written and oral communication

However, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.

In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for bonus pay. The targeted bonus amount is 30% of base salary based on company and individual performance measures. The Total Target Cash range (base pay and bonus) for this position, is $116,300 to $180,000. Bonus payments are part of variable compensation and by nature can vary based on company and individual performance and is not a guarantee

Summary and Principal Area of Responsibility:

The position is responsible for unloading, receiving, locating and maintaining all incoming material. Maintain the organization and safety of the warehouse areas and personal work station.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (includes the following; other duties may be assigned):

  • Generate label with proper information and affix to box.
  • Load and unload trucks as necessary.
  • Respond to customer service/customer queries.
  • Generate paperwork from QAD for receiving as appropriate.
  • Follow receiving policies and procedures.
  • Receipt, issuance and maintenance of all materials required to support production.
  • Responsible for orderly storage, tracking and maintenance of all materials in warehouse.
  • Data entry into the inventory management system for all receipts and movement of material.
  • Audit and verify counts of material – cycle count.
  • Must be able to operate material handling equipment.
  • Load and unload trucks, store, and maintain materials at other buildings.
  • Detects and reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the shift supervisor / department manager.
  • Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations.
  • Must be willing to accept and receive frequent supervision and assistance as well as participate as a member of team.
  • Must be able to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
  • Must have a strong commitment to working safely.
  • Maintain a 5S acceptable work area.
  • Housekeeping duties as needed/directed.
  • Support Visual Workplace and LEAN initiatives.
  • Ability to work varied hours/days/overtime as business dictates.
  • Use Saleslogix to receive RMS’s.

WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS?

Work Experience:

  • One to Two years in a Manufacturing environment are preferred. Will substitute for equivalent work experience.
  • Must have a good command of the English language, both written and spoken.
  • Must be able to read and interpret drawings, use simple math, and use basic hand held measuring tools.

Technical Skills:

  • Basic computer skills

The Injection Molding Setup Technician will set up, maintain, and troubleshoot injection molding machines to ensure efficient production processes. This role involves installing molds, adjusting machine settings, performing quality checks, and ensuring compliance with safety and production standards.

Mold Setup & Changeovers:

Install and remove molds according to production schedules.
Ensure proper mold alignment, clamping, and connection of auxiliary equipment.
Perform mold changes efficiently to minimize downtime.

Machine Operation & Troubleshooting:

Set machine parameters (temperature, pressure, speed, etc.) for optimal performance.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to molding defects, cycle times, and process inconsistencies.
Work with maintenance teams to diagnose mechanical and electrical issues.

Quality Control:

Perform first-piece inspections and monitor production runs for defects.
Make necessary adjustments to ensure product quality meets specifications.
Document and report any deviations or corrective actions taken.

Equipment Maintenance & Safety:

Perform routine preventive maintenance on molds, machines, and auxiliary equipment.
Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety protocols and company policies.
Identify and report any potential hazards or equipment malfunctions.

Collaboration & Continuous Improvement:

Work closely with production supervisors, engineers, and quality teams to improve efficiency.
Participate in process improvement initiatives and suggest optimizations.
Train and assist operators in proper machine usage and troubleshooting techniques.

Essential Functions:

  • Reads blueprint drawings and work orders to understand/meet customer specifications.
  • Produces parts by following the work orders, blueprints, and programming folders.
  • Sets up molds for each work cell and maintains equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements following manufacturer's instructions.
  • Maintains drawing specifications by observing process temperatures and injection pressures to detect non-conformances.
  • Verifies settings by measuring positions, first-run part, and sample work pieces.
  • Calculates dimensions and tolerances using knowledge of mathematics and instruments such as micrometers, Vernier calipers, and optical comparator.
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with all company EH&S policies and procedures
  • Work in a manner that complies with all site policies and procedures, and actively demonstrates SG principles of conduct & action.

WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS?

  • High School Diploma or GED certificate.
  • Ability to read, understand and follow written materials including blueprint drawings, job orders, etc.
  • 3+ years experience in injection molding plastics processing; experience in set-up and operation of injection molds and auxiliary equipment.

 

  • Experience using inspection equipment and following quality procedures.
  • Manual dexterity required to operate machinery and program equipment.
  • Good vision to read written materials and measuring instruments.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds

The total annual target cash range (Hourly Pay Rate plus Bonus, annualized (40 hrs./week * 52wks)) for this position, is $57,200 to $80,080. Bonus payments are part of variable compensation and by nature can vary based on company and individual performance and is not a guarantee.

Our site in Orange, CT, is looking for a Quality Inspector, 2nd Shift (3pm to 11pm) to join the team. Our Quality Inspectors compare measurements, form, fit, function, and value judgments of simple and complex parts to blueprint specifications and general workmanship standards using documents, experience, and knowledge of inspection techniques of Saint-Gobain. The Quality Inspector is responsible for ensuring Good Documentation Practices are utilized throughout all quality records that are reviewed/completed/inspected/audited.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Inspect manufactured product for dimensional consistency, workmanship and finish.
  • Maintains the flow of product through inspection in a timely manner meeting due dates for outside processes and customer deliveries.
  • Inspects incoming materials for conformance to requirements, reviews certifications for conformance, issues DMR or NCMR in our ERP system if needed.
  • Performs In-process inspection.
  • Reviews certification packages for product and releases for shipment in ERP system.
  • Files electronic data on server and maintains accurate and orderly certification files in QA
  • Assists the Lead Inspector and Department Supervisor as needed.
  • Other tasks as assigned.

WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS?

  • High School Diploma or equivalent - Required
  • Quality Inspection Experience (2 to 4 years) – Strongly Preferred
  • High attention to detail and consistency
  • Experience with basic measuring equipment such as calipers or micrometers and other common inspection tools
  • Experience reading and interpreting blueprints and specifications
  • Experience in a smaller production environment
  • Some experience with Visual Measuring Systems desired
  • Able to adapt and prioritize to meet our customer needs and expectations.
  • Team oriented - supports other team members and other teams as needed.

In addition to the hourly base pay rate, this position is eligible for periodic bonus payments/an annual bonus. The targeted bonus amount can be up to 10% of hourly rate based on company and individual performance measures. The Account Manager, Solar serves as the first line of contact between customers and the business. This role will work hand-in-hand with the sales and customer success organizations and ensure all activities are documented and tracked in the CRM tool. An employee in this position must focus on customers' expectations, responding in real-time to inquiries, prevent problems (and elevate them to the appropriate management level, when needed), and strive for continuous improvement resulting in improved results for themselves, customers and the overall business.
