  • Work Saturday - Friday (7 days) 7:30 AM - 3:30 PM (1st shift)

What’s the job?

  • Tasks assigned by Shift Manager by seniority
  • If positioned at the batt modules, check all batt modules to ensure bags are presentable and properly sealed, bags and piece count are correct, the general area is clean. Audit batt modules for cycle time and operations (maintenance, build-up, etc.)
  • If positioned on K11, check for proper labels and date coding. Audit equipment for proper operations (Roll cuts, maintenance, build-up, etc.)
  • Perform cleaning tasks as assigned by Shift Manager
  • Meet with Shift Manager at beginning of the day to cover “game plan” as assigned
  • Apply industrial roll labels straight and square with the bag and with the top of the label nearest the open end of the industrial bag.
  • Apply bag labels straight and square with the end of the bag. Do not reapply labels over old labels.

IS THIS JOB FOR YOU?

Shipping Clerks will work on individual projects that center around 5S, organizing and site improvements.
This position requires:
• Able to work independently or collaboratively as needed
• Review system and packing slips to identify what needs to be worked on
• Follow work instructions on how to package product
• Weigh count, bag, box and label product and complete necessary paperwork of what was packaged
• Verify other shipping clerks’ labels and paperwork entries
• Accurately perform data entries
• Communicate with other shipping clerks, shipping lead and warehouse supervisor with relevant information regarding product (shortages, overages, discrepancies, etc.)
• Communicate with shipping lead and warehouse supervisor improvement ideas including work instructions, cost savings, safety and quality
• Able to efficiently use Excel, Word, Outlook, QAD, Factivity, Bartender and other MFG applications
• Able to safely operate equipment such as pallet jacks, fork lifts, heat sealers, winders and boxers
• Assist shipping lead and shipping coordinator with verifying paperwork, wrapping of pallets and processing shipments
• Work in correlation with production, quality and CSS on meeting our on-time delivery requirements by quickly and efficiently getting product packaged as it hits the shelves
• Organize product, supplies and warehouse locations to maintain safe and efficient work conditions
• Other duties as assigned

• HS diploma or equivalent required
• Forklift License required or ability to obtain within 6 weeks
• Must be able to lift up to 50#’s required

Research Technician - Bonded Abrasives, R&D

Saint-Gobain Research North America is looking for a hands‑on Research Technician to support critical R&D and manufacturing initiatives within our Bonded Abrasives team. This role is essential to maintaining execution of key development programs and customer commitments by providing reliable technical support across laboratory and plant environments.   • Prepare and process material samples, including mixing, forming, and testing of abrasive systems

However, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.

In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual bonus. The targeted bonus amount is 7% of base salary based on company and individual performance measures. The Total Target Cash range (base pay and annual bonus) for this position, is $57,245 to $88,275. Bonus payments are part of variable compensation and by nature can vary based on company and individual performance and is not a guarantee.

Commercial Field Sales Manager

Maintenance Planner

The Role

The Maintenance Planner/Scheduler is responsible for assisting with the development and execution of the insulation manufacturing plant's reliability-based maintenance strategy which is founded on preventative and predictive maintenance. The position requires hands on maintenance experience and all tasks will be performed supporting the policies, goals and objectives of the organization. This position will collaborate with key stakeholders in a union environment (including vendors, contractors, regional support, and departments at the plant level) to execute planned work with quality and timeliness. This position may occasionally work off-hours as requirements dictate to meet department objectives.


The core function of a Maintenance Planner/Scheduler is to effectively coordinate all work activities of the Maintenance Department and is the owner of the SAP-Work Management System (SAP-WMS). The Planner/Scheduler is also responsible for kitting jobs as required and ensuring all data accurately entered into the system- monitoring orders to completion status.


Primary weekly responsibilities for this role include:

  • Generate all Preventative Maintenance (PM) and Non-PM Work Orders (WO) and to ensure any spare parts necessary to execute these tasks are kept in inventory at the stock levels needed
  • Administrator and trainer for overseeing work notifications via SAP Plant Maintenance System which include collaborating with team supervisors to assign work to either contractors or hourly technicians
  • Organize and maintain accurate equipment files as well as ensure work orders have prioritized oversight and follow up as necessary. This will include job walk down are prioritized safely, incorporating the necessary work process considerations into each job plan
  • Collaborates with specialists, engineers and technicians to maximize equipment reliability and availability through effective use of planned maintenance to quickly return equipment to design capability
  • Continuously evaluates workplace for safety concerns and ensures behavioral safety initiatives are performed to goal levels
  • Utilizes maintenance planning tools to prioritize work within the facility by identifying and implementing maintenance and reliability activities through the identification of the proper resources, tools and materials

The Estimator II is responsible for developing accurate and comprehensive material takeoffs using OST and/or Bluebeam Revu while leveraging a broad understanding of our product portfolio.
