The main purpose of the position is to support the Warehouse team with administrative duties and paperwork. In addition, this position will also be responsible for the cleanliness of the yard and Warehouse. This position could also be responsible for receiving/shipping and forklift operation.

 

This position significantly contributes to the overall shipping function of Bailey Metal Products Limited. If the customers and trucking companies are not called in a timely manner, it will have significant impact on Bailey in terms of delivery delays and potential loss of customers.

The Responsabilities

  • Place barcode stickers on orders to be shipped
  • Write up bills of lading
  • Communicate with customers and trucking companies
  • Email customer ready orders to the order desk
  • Collaborate with the shipping team to clean and sweep yard as necessary
  • Operate a forklift
  • Abide by all Health & Safety rules and requirements laid out by the Company
  • Carry out any other work assigned by the Warehouse Manager

We are hiring for a CNC Mill Machinist. The successful candidate will be detail oriented, dependable, and responsible for operating a variety of CNC equipment along with manual machines. Specific duties include, but are not limited to:

• Operate a variety of CNC turning and milling centers with Fanuc controls, including manual machines.

• Ability to read drawings and specifications with an understanding of geometric tolerances and dimensions.

• Understanding of tool holders, cutting tools, boring bars, fixtures, inserts, and other accessories used on various machines is a plus.

• Use quality inspection tools such as micrometers, calipers, bore gauge, and height gages.

• Continually inspects parts for high quality and records applicable information as required.

• Read and interpret work instruction.

• Follow safety procedures.

• Keep work area neat, clean, and organized.

• Ability to work independently and as a team member.

 

WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS?

High school diploma or equivalent. Additional trade school education in machining preferred.

Able to read and follow SOPs, labels, instructions, and blueprints.

Previous manufacturing CNC machinist experience required (1-2 years a plus).

Have machine shop/metal working skills.

Be comfortable working with close tolerances (thousandths)

Ability to setup your own jobs and run first part (training provided)

Must also be familiar with various types of gauging and measuring devices including micrometers, calipers, height gauges, plug gauges, bore gauges etc.

Able to perform quality inspections that will produce parts that conform to required specifications of the blueprint.

Willing to work overtime as needed.

Inspector/Packer

The employee must effectively direct, motivate, and coordinate packing activities of the vinyl siding plant to optimize packing with quality, safety, and cleanliness requirements.

Inspect and package all vinyl siding and accessories that may be produced within the manufactured area. Performs several different operations toward the completion of the manufactured process.

SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Sets up boxes for use in packaging and inspects siding and accessories for visual defects as material is extruded.
  • Notifies appropriate personnel of undesirable changes or quality problems as they occur.
  • Packs products into boxes in the specified quantity and arrangement.
  • Applies glue, seals boxes for proper adhesive setup, assures that finished package has neat appearance, stacks product on finished product rack.
  • Responsible for labeling of finished product including correct product carton number, acceptable verification, color and applicable codes.
  • Rejects defective products and has ability to measure such material against established standards and documented specifications.
  • Conducts all quality inspections at specified time intervals and documents such inspections on appropriate paperwork.
  • Must demonstrate good teamwork to work together with fellow employees.
  • Must demonstrate good housekeeping skills and safety practices to assure a safe and hazard free work environment.
  • Must be able to learn to operate and interface with automated equipment.

Compensation

We believe in the importance of pay transparency in what we offer potential candidates. Provided is the pay rate for this position which is:

  • Salary: $24.87 – 28.51 per hour, plus
  • 2nd shift, shift differential of $0.40/hr.
  • 3rd shift, shift differential of $0.50/hr.

In addition to the hourly base pay rate, this position is eligible for an annual bonus. The targeted bonus rate is based on company and individual performance measures. The Plant Controller ensure the financial statement integrity and internal controls of the Building Envelope lines of businesses. About the Role
