Job Summary:

Hours: Monday - Friday 7:30am to 4:00pm

The Material Shipper will play a critical role in maintaining the inventory and facilitating the shipping needs for all products and materials, including issuing materials to manufacturing (kitting components) for orders to be completed prior to shipping.

The Material Shipper will hold a strict adherence to Corporate and/or local policies, rules, and regulations as required. A commitment to carrying out the Company’s policies is required.

An employee in this position must focus on customers' expectations and strive for continuous improvement resulting in improved results for themselves, customers, and other employees.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Perform inventory transactions in QAD.
  • Verify/reconcile all forms and paperwork as needed, including manufacturing forms, work order documentation, stock movement tickets, scrap tickets, identification tags, QA forms via electronic document storage, etc.
  • Schedule trucks for delivery and pick up of product as required for on-time expediting. Be proactive in assuring all shipments are on time. Communicate and assist in resolving any issues that affect shipment, whether current or in the future.
  • Perform other duties as directed or required, including packaging product and transporting material between buildings.

Secondary Responsibilities:

  • Store and pull materials using assigned protocols with correct equipment.
  • Communicate with all shifts the status of parts, equipment, and any other matters impacting products being shipped. Coordinate critical departmental activities warranting collaboration with other departments.
  • Load and unload trucks.
  • Research and audit inventory by conducting cycle counts.
  • Initiate and support housekeeping and safety activities within the facility, daily.

 

WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS?

Experience/Knowledge:

Must have a minimum of three years shipping experience

Must have a familiarity with Microsoft Windows/Office Software/Applications.

Must be a certified forklift driver.

Must be proficient with QAD, Eagle and UPS shipping programs.

Physical Demands:

Requires walking, primarily on a level surface through out the day. May need to traverse uneven terrain and climb stairs/steps periodically. May need to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and reach above shoulder heights and below the waist. Lifting as required with proper lifting techniques up to 30 pounds on occasion.

Working Conditions:

This position is in a warehouse environment where the use of personal protective equipment including hearing protection, safety glasses, and safety shoes are mandated. Noise levels are sometimes loud and temperatures may vary due to weather

Controls Technician

In alignment with the company vision, mission, values, and objectives, the Automation Technician will troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and improve automation systems in the plant.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES   

  • Develops and maintains PLC/HMI/SCADA systems.
  • Analyzes operating problems using advanced PLC controls.
  • Maintains automation-related systems (PLC/HMI/VFD/Instrumentation/Calibration/Network) and implements required updates to avoid technical obsolescence.

  • Prepares and maintains data sheets, wiring and Process &Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID) and flow charts required for the proper and efficient operation of plant equipment.
  • Installs electrical equipment/electrical power lines (480 V and below).
  • Assures good housekeeping practices following 5S systems, enforces plant rules and safety regulations, and supports VMVO and WCM initiatives.
  • Continuously evaluates the workplace for safety concerns and ensures behavioral safety initiatives are performed to goal levels

Architectural Solutions Manager – BC

Relationship Building with Contractors:

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key contractors across BC.
  • Organize and conduct product training sessions and industry events to showcase product capabilities.
  • Act as a resource for troubleshooting and guidance on complex jobs.

Leadership and Pipeline management:

  • Works collaboratively with the local team to deliver sales growth and sustained demand.

What do you bring?

  • 5+ years of applied professional experience which includes managing customer relationships, sales presentations, and closings of sales.
  • Proven ability to specify products with design firms.
  • Demonstrated ability to establish rapport and build quality relationships through networking.

Industry 4.0 Integration Lead

Maintenance Electrician

  • HVAC knowledge and repair.
  • Maintenance of lighting for RR crossing, as well as highway crossings
  • Responsible for maintaining all electrical apparatus for the mine.
  • Familiar with both AC and DC 12 and 24-volt circuits.
  • Installation of the basic electrical system
  • Calibrate and test the belt scale
  • Maintain an off-road heavy equipment fleet
  • Must be able to demonstrate knowledge of schematics and equipment service manuals

Job Summary

Operate extruder machines to produce products which conform to part print. Assure products meet all quality specifications and are made according to the latest procedures and standards. Set up extrusion equipment to produce parts to specification.

 

WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS?

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Set Up extrusion machines by installing dyes, machine screws, and sizing rings to manufacture parts according to specifications using approved set up sheets to cycle machines
  • Weigh materials and other specified ingredients per specifications/instructions and Load blended materials in hopper on molding machines as needed
  • Operate extrusion machines to produce specified product according to customer specifications and ensuring Quality of the parts.
  • Inspect Parts for defects and make necessary corrections to troubleshoot them out of the process. Escalate when help is needed
  • Utilize the Manufacturing Execution System to update job data, material usage, locate process sheets, view prints, etc.
  • Measure Parts according to print guidelines using calipers, rulers, and other measuring devices.
  • Meet Productivity standards on a consistent basis. Escalate issues to management that will affect productivity.
  • Purge machines during the changeover process to ensure the machine is ready for the next cycle.
  • Set Up and Operate the cutter to cut tubing to specified dimensions.
  • Label and Seal Bags
  • Operate the auto winder removing spools f completed product and setting up the next spool to ensure proper operations of the auto winder
  • Set up the printer to properly label tubing per specifications
  • Suggest work instruction corrections/recommendations to help foster an environment of continuous improvement 
  • Perform other related tasks, including but not limited to, performing housekeeping tasks required to keep work areas clean and organized.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

High School diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred. Efficient and willingness to perform required work with good attendance and attitude. Understand SOP's relating to the department activities. Good analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills. Must be a team player. Effective communication skills essential - both written and verbal

Must be able to properly fill out time reporting and work order documentation. Operational knowledge of injection molding machines is preferred.

​PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Requires walking, primarily on a level surface throughout the day. May need to climb stairs/steps periodically. May need to stoop or kneel and reach above shoulder heights, below the waist. Lifting as required with proper lifting techniques up to 50 pounds on occasion.

This position is in a clean room environment where the use of personal protective equipment such as hearing protection, safety glasses, and safety shoes are mandated. Noise levels and temperatures may vary due to areas accessed. There is some exposure to dust, fumes, and chemicals such as alcohol.

What’s the job?

Under the supervision of the Warehouse Supervisor, the position is accountable for gathering warehouse products, scanning products into inventory, preparing products for shipment, and loading finished product onto carrier trucks. Responsibilities:

The responsibilities and accountabilities of the position include but are not limited to the following:

  • Communicate with the dispatcher, supervisor, and driver to understand loading requirements and ensure safe, complete, and accurate loading. Verify all necessary paperwork and load safety with the driver after loading.
  • Examine incoming shipments for damage, unload, unpack, verify type and quantity of material, reject damaged items, record shortages, sign and date shipping documentation, pass completed documents to the supervisor, and report any discrepancies.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • 5-6 years of warehousing and forklift experience preferred.

Millwright Apprentice/ Maintenance Worker

  • Operate machine tools such as lathes and grinders to fabricate the parts required during overhauls, maintenance or set-up of machinery
