Primary Functions:

Maintain the safe and efficient use of equipment, while adjusting settings to ensure accurate production of goods. Support all efforts of maintaining 5-S standards and the plants overall housekeeping as assigned by the Production Supervisor. Assist other Managers with different tasks as they occur as assigned by the Production Supervisor.

  • Pay: $22.24 - $25.09/hr. paid weekly
  • Shift: Must be able to work all shifts. $.50 shift differential when working 2nd or 3rd shift.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily routine cleaning of areas; maintain 5-S standards and housekeeping
  • Responsible for machine adjustments, product changeover, start-up and shut downs activities.
  • Conduct preventable maintenance of process line and resolve production problems efficiently to minimize down time.
  • Ensure optimum operations of equipment by reporting needed maintenance
  • Meet department’s key objectives

Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

Siding Products Group (SPG) is seeking a driven, talented, and experienced Extrusion Process Manager to join our team. This role is pivotal in driving process excellence through Industry 4.0 methodologies, employing both tactical and strategic approaches to support our growing business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Cross-Functional Teams: Effectively manage and lead cross-functional teams to execute and deliver project objectives
  • Process Improvement: Develop and support process improvement projects in material blending, compound and additive feeding, and extrusion processing. This includes equipment identification and setup, troubleshooting process inefficiencies, and ensuring process control
  • Collaboration: Work closely with R&D, Quality & Process Control, Plant Operations, Project Engineers, and Product Managers to create and execute project plans, design and conduct experiments, analyze data, and present findings
  • Project Proposals: Propose projects and programs essential to the operational direction of the group
  • Process Optimization: Serve as a subject matter expert in extrusion process, driving improvements to enhance quality, efficiency, and reduce waste using Six Sigma and Lean methodologies

  • Continuous Improvement: Lead cost reduction initiatives, process automation, and material optimization to enhance production performance

Essential Functions:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive blending, feeding and extrusion process strategy for vinyl manufacturing plants, aligning with business strategy and industry trends
  • Oversee multiple process optimization projects, ensuring they are well-defined, properly resourced, and executed within established timelines, while fostering strong collaboration with Production, Engineering, R&D and Quality & Process Control. Facilitate seamless communication to ensure a cohesive approach to Extrusion processing optimization while monitoring the process, allocating resources effectively and adapting strategies as needed. And assuring full ownership in driving and executing these projects to deliver best in class safety, process optimization and product quality resulting in overall operational excellence
  • Be up to date on new technologies and advancements in blend, extrusion, and feeding process

Additional Requirements
Certain states require pay information be provided in job postings. The national pay range for this position is $111,000 to $177,000 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual bonus. The targeted bonus amount is 15% of base salary based on company and individual performance measures. The total target cash range (base pay and annual bonus) for this position, is $127,650.00 to $203,550.00

The HR Compliance Specialist will play a crucial role in supporting the department in all aspects of HR compliance ensuring the company adheres to all relevant labor laws, regulations, and internal policies. Plant Controller

WHY DO WE NEED YOU?

The Plant Controller will be the co-pilot of the Plant Manager of our Jonesbury, MO manufacturing site, assisting them in driving the business forward. This role requires intensity, agility and aptitude to successfully manage multiple simultaneous priorities and projects to financially support a matrix of diverse customers. Focusing on continuous improvement and elimination of non-valued activities is key, as well as strong sense of customer service.

• Partner with plant management to increase plant efficiency and profitability - identify issues and proactively initiate analyses / solutions quickly and accurately, keeping in mind the requirements from GAAP. Meet the needs of a complex, diverse, dynamic and fast paced organization that will pose a wide variety of challenges from a manufacturing level.

• Manage the timely completion of the month-end financial close for the roofing and granule plant, demonstrating awareness of all elements of a plant’s financial statements.

• Prepare analysis to understand the financial ramifications of current and proposed business actions

• Ensure compliance with Saint-Gobain Corporate and Exterior Product Group policies and procedures

• Prepare and coordinate the annual budget at the plant level, oversee and reconcile inventory cycle counts and annual physical inventory and assist in preparation of capital appropriations requests

• Project work based on company objectives & supporting / challenging Six Sigma activities with special focus on the financial analysis, and cost reduction projects

• Financial training for non-financial stakeholders - ability to effectively develop people and transfer knowledge down into, and across, the financial and manufacturing organizations

• Attendance in the Plant every day, minimum of Four (4) days per week

• Travel up to 20%.

 

WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS?

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or Finance, CPA, CMA, or MBA preferable (Equivalent, complementary work experience may be substituted) 

• Minimum 5-7 years of progressive cost accounting and analysis experience with a major manufacturing organization. A strong emphasis should be put on knowledge of management accounting, cost and inventory accounting, and GAAP

• Strong analytical skills are required to quickly grasp issues impacting the plant’s financial result

• Strong communication & presentation skills - capable of leading a process team and able to define clear vision, goals, and service standards, as well as working independently.

• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across plant and functional organizations

Maintenance Mechanic

WHY DO WE NEED YOU?

Responsible for preventative maintenance tasks on industrial machinery, and maintain industrial equipment as necessary. Troubleshoot machine breakdown and repair situations and safely restore the machine to the proper operating condition. Moving equipment such as fork lifts, buggies, genie booms, and industrial sweepers travel throughout the facility, sometimes in congested areas
