The Quality & Process Control Manager located in Ravenna, Ohio will be accountable to ensure the Quality Management System (QMS) is implemented per requirements and to report areas of concern to Management. The Quality & Process Control Manager will be expected to ensure the plant remains in full compliance with regulatory and ISO requirements as they pertain to the plant, customer specifications, and corporate quality policies. The Quality & Process Control Manager will also be responsible for identification and implementation of projects to reduce waste and improvement processes through WCM methodologies.

Essential functions include:

  • Quality Management System (50%)

-Oversee implementation and compliance of the site Quality Management System (QMS) with corporate policies, regulations, and industry standards.

-Manage document control, change management, supplier quality, audits, risk management, and training programs.

-Lead root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA), ensuring timely resolution of issues.

-Oversee product/material testing and approve quality control (QC) results.

  • Team Leadership & People Management (40%)

-Lead and develop the Quality Assurance and Quality Engineering teams.

-Set daily priorities, monitor performance, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

-Build a strong, collaborative team culture focused on quality, accountability, and professional growth.

-Directly manage 2 salaried and 6–10 hourly employees.

-Provide coaching, mentorship, and development opportunities to direct reports.

 Leadership Expectations

-Take ownership of the facility QMS and ensure compliance and continuous improvement.

-Inspire buy-in across the organization for quality standards and improvements.

-Act as a problem-solver and visionary, setting goals for the Quality Department and executing against milestones.

  •  Customer Quality (10%)

-Manage customer quality interactions, including audits, corrective actions, and quality agreements.

-Partner across departments to resolve quality issues and ensure customer requirements are met.

 

WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree Engineering, Operations or equivalent
  • 5+ years’ experience as part of a quality organization in a highly regulated industry (preferably aerospace).
  • 5+ years’ experience managing, growing, and developing direct reports.
  • Strong knowledge of quality standards ISO9001 and/or AS9100 is preferred.
  • Demonstrated understanding of LEAN manufacturing concepts
  • Strong project managements skills

Actively lead safety and environmental initiatives to achieve world class performance.

Knowledge of all production processes and equipment. Monitor performance of team. Develop action plans for training and people development for team. Lead and coach direct reports. Give leadership support to peers and to Site Manager as needed.

Architectural Estimator Contract 12-18 months

We are looking for an experienced Architectural Estimator to work within the CertainTeed Architectural Products portfolio.

What’s the Job

We work closely with a team of experienced outside sales professionals, GC’s and, distributors and our role is to provide estimating support to that team by developing project quotations, and onboarding projects successfully won.

As a professional estimator you will use product knowledge, skill, intuition, and teamwork to ensure product solutions are well defined, cost assumptions are accurate, and service offerings are sold with strong margins, a well-organized process, and a positive customer experience at all levels. On the day to day this looks like:

  • Review architectural drawings/RCP’s and identify material scope across all product lines.
  • Prepare quantity take-off and apply appropriate pricing strategy.
  • Determine and document criteria relating to acoustical performance, fire rating, LEED, Well, FSC, VOC, EPD’s and any other project specific testing requirements.
  • Accurately assess all factors of project scope which may affect cost, including probable scope which may have been left out or is unspecified.
  • Where required, value engineer to ensure maximum chance of success.
  • Collect and analyze data in to improve estimate quality as applies to the time, materials and labor required to manufacture a product or provide a service.
  • Coordinate quotation strategy with Estimating Manager as needed.
  • Ensure timely completion of estimates and submit quote/BID documents to all potential bidders for future follow up.
  • Work with client/Manager to coordinate quotation, negation, and closeout strategy.
  • Prepare submittals, sample and testing requirements consistently clarifying delivery schedule issues or timeline issues to project/client team.

  • Post-Secondary degree or diploma in Architecture, Construction Technology or equivalent technical field required.
  • 5-10 years of experience in an estimating role in the Architectural, construction or manufacturing industry.
  • Extensive experience estimating in a custom product environment, including custom wood products.
  • Experience working with Salespeople, GCs and distributors within the North American construction market.
  • Understanding of commercial construction and bidding process.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting architectural drawings.

  • Planifier, préparer, modifier et programmer les tâches de maintenance préventives dans SAP Maintenance de façon à respecter les dates pour atteindre la conformité;
  • Animer les rencontres de coordination avec les ingénieurs, les superviseurs de maintenance et de la production afin de préparer et coordonner tous les arrêts planifiés, incluant l’arrêt majeur une fois par année;
  • Travailler étroitement avec les superviseurs et les ingénieurs de façon à fermer la planification régulière;
  • Planifier les ressources nécessaires (main d’œuvre, pièces, machinerie spéciale etc…);
  • Faire les réquisitions d’achat pour les pièces, ressources et services de maintenance;
  • Être responsable des processus de mise en bac et des réparables;
  • Codifier dans SAP Maintenance les pièces de rechange essentielles;
  • Faire le suivi auprès des fournisseurs pour les demandes de prix;
  • S’assurer de capturer les améliorations possibles et la bonne mise à jour des plans d’entretien dans SAP Maintenance;
  • Participer à la rédaction des procédures de maintenance;
  • S’assurer que les indicateurs de performance du département sont capturés et préparés;
  • Représenter le site de LaSalle au sein du comité de partage des bonnes pratiques planification;
  • Créer et suivre les bons de travail du département;
  • Préparer les documents et pièces nécessaire aux interventions (dossiers d’équipements, fiches d’intervention);
  • Toutes autres tâches en lien avec l’emploi pourront être demandées.

Exigences

  • Diplôme d'études postsecondaires, de préférence un diplôme en technologie de l'ingénierie ou une formation dans les métiers techniques;
  • Minimum de 3 années d'expérience comme planificateur de maintenance dans un environnement manufacturier;
  • Très bonne connaissance pratique de logiciel SAP Maintenance;
  • Expérience dans un environnement de travail syndiqué (atout);
  • Expérience avec les processus d’amélioration continue;
  • Maîtrise des programmes Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, PowerPoint;
  • Bonnes connaissances et aptitudes en électrique, en mécanique, en procédé et en bâtiment dans une entreprise manufacturière;
  • Connaissance en pétrochimie (atout);
  • Capacité à fournir une vue globale de la planification à nos clients internes et à entrevoir les enjeux et/ou futurs problématiques;

Le poste nécessite de passer beaucoup de temps sur le plancher de l'usine. Under the supervision of the Service Center Supervisor located in Malvern, PA (this is not a remote position) or Manager, the Customer Account Specialist-2 is accountable for establishing a strong customer relationship based on trust and responsiveness to deliver World Class Service to the incumbents’ customer base. The CAS will accurately process customer orders in an efficient manner to ensure we exceed our customers’ expectations. Additionally, the CAS-2 will manage multi-part customer complaints/concerns and be empowered to resolve issues in a timely and professional manner. The CAS is fully proficient in all aspects of the Learning Path and is knowledgeable across all lines of business and regions. The CAS will adhere to policies and procedures currently in place and maintain the required level of service to our customers.

The CAS works within the parameters as defined by CertainTeed customer service standards and the Service Advantage guidelines. The incumbent must analyze and respond to fluctuating situations and conditions in such a manner that not only meets/exceeds the expectations of our customers, but also considers the overall impact on the business. Proactively resolves customer problems/issues, exhibiting ownership for our customers.

  • Order Entry Document Manager (OEDM)
  • Understands and executes all types of order processing (EDI/Business Connections)

  • Cross-train to gain understanding of the functions within the Supply Chain to effectively support the overall Siding Products Group.
  • Provide coverage for time off, peak periods, and perform at the Learning Path proficient level and as a high performer in all aspects of customer service and related cross-trained function(s).

Senior Supply Chain Planner

The Senior Supply Chain Planner will be primarily focused on supply chain planning activities supporting our retail business.  This position plays a critical role in ensuring product availability, driving replenishment strategies, and managing consigned inventory to meet customer expectations and business objectives. •    Own the replenishment process for assigned Big Box Retail accounts, ensuring timely product availability.
•    Manage inventory levels, both at CertainTeed sites and consigned at customer locations, maintaining optimal stock levels to meet customer service targets while minimizing excess and obsolescence.  This includes:
•    Collaborate closely with retail partners and internal sales teams to align seasonal builds, resets, new product launches, and inventory strategies.
•    Monitor and optimize replenishment cycles using retailer portals, and internal tools to ensure high in-stock rates and service performance.
•    Track and report on customer-specific KPIs related to order fill rate, on-time delivery, inventory turns, and in-stock performance.
•    Serve as the key point of contact for supply chain-related communications with retail customers, proactively addressing issues and identifying improvement opportunities.
•    Partner with production planning and procurement to align supply plans with customer demand signals and inventory targets.
•    Collaborate with logistics to ensure smooth transportation and delivery execution, resolving shipment delays or disruptions quickly.
•    Contribute to S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) process by providing insights into customer demand, inventory health, and replenishment performance.
•    Represent the Planning function for assigned products and facilities on regular cross-functional conference calls, providing updates on product availability and any other service-related issues.
•    Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying supply chain inefficiencies and recommending enhancements that support customer satisfaction and cost savings.
