WHY DO WE NEED YOU?

The Director, Compensation is a key member of the Saint-Gobain Total Rewards leadership team reporting to the Vice President, Total Rewards. This position is responsible for directing a team of six in managing the strategy, plan design, communications, and administration of the organization’s compensation programs for 19,000 employees in the US and Canada. This role is responsible for providing operational and strategic leadership to Human Resources and Business leaders in North America to ensure our Total Rewards package remains market-competitive, meets the needs of our employees and their families, and supports our Employee Value Proposition and our values of Trust, Empowerment and Collaboration. This role should display a passion for delivering innovative and sustainable compensation programs that foster transparency and drive a positive and engaged employee experience while delivering on business objectives. The Director, Compensation will work closely with the Vice President of Total Rewards, the Director of Benefits and Well-being, and the Global Total Rewards team in France to continue to grow and execute on the Company’s Total Rewards strategy which includes:

  • Leading the implementation of our new Job Architecture in North America which aligns to our global structure, ensures alignment with external market and our organization’s business goals and values. 
  • Advancing our Pay Transparency strategy to foster a culture of engagement and transparency.
  • Leading the design and implementation of our new HCM and compensation tool, Workday, launching spring of 2026.
  • Partnering with Internal Communications and Employee Experience to develop and deliver clear and effective employee communication that supports our overall Employee Value Proposition. 
  • Support the continued evolution of the Employee Value Proposition Roadmap through innovative programs based on our employee listening strategy, including a new recognition program.
  • Direct due diligence and integration planning activities related to all mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures.
  • Partner with the Human Resources and Labor Relations team to support ongoing labor relations strategy and union negotiations with relevant market and economic data.

IS THIS JOB FOR YOU?

  • Bachelors degree in related field or equivalent work experience is required
  • 8-10 years experience in HR, benefits, and/or compensation
  • 5-7 years in a strategic leadership position is required
  • Demonstrated success in creating various variable plan designs, recommending solutions, delivering results, prioritizing tasks, driving toward timely and accurate completion, and shifting easily between high-level and detailed information to provide timely and audience-appropriate responses.
  • Proven experience in Project and Process Management as well as strong analytical, technical and modeling skills, with proven ability to develop effective compensation plans and programs to drive business strategies
  • Deep understanding of compensation surveys, benchmarking, executive compensation, and sales compensation as well as all applicable federal, provincial, state, and local regulations, including, but not limited to, FLSA, 409A, Pay Transparency, and Pay Equity.
  • Excellent business and financial acumen, analytical, communication skills and executive presence. 
  • Ability to build and foster partnerships across various stakeholders and develop collaborative working relationships with a strong emphasis on the employee experience. 
  • Demonstrated success in developing and successfully executing compensation strategies.
  • Demonstrated experience in leveraging consultants and service providers to ensure the Company is providing competitive compensation focused on a positive employee experience and well-being. 
  • Focus on continuous improvement with excellent project management skill.
  • Experience with Workday compensation, Hay banding, PayScale surveys and analytical tools a plus.

The Business Development Manager (BDM) will drive sales and build strategic partnerships for Single-Use Systems within the assigned territory and portfolio. Will identify target accounts, develop and execute detailed sales plans, and lead a consultative sales process to deliver custom solutions to biopharmaceutical manufacturing customers.

The BDM manages a project pipeline, provides regular updates to both customers and internal stakeholders, and collaborates closely with the Technical Services Manager and other BDM’s. Will also hold accountability for one or more global key accounts.

Key Accountabilities:

Manage territory to meet/exceed business goals and objectives in terms of gross sales, margins and new customer acquisition. Identify commercial opportunities in the form of new customers and/or new products, develop strong relationship at target accounts, provide application knowledge, industry expertise, and manage sales activities according to a solutions-selling, disciplined process.

Collaborate with all business departments to successfully win profitable projects in line with the business strategy. Contribute to improve and strengthen internal processes to achieve more efficiency and agility.

Collect, analyze and transmit information regarding market evolution and technology trends. Take part in trade shows either as a visitor or exhibitor.

Work with manufacturing operations to provide accurate and timely information regarding customer demand to support sales and service objectives. Provide periodic forecasts used to anticipate overall sales performance. Contribute to the yearly budgeting process and report on variances between sales and monthly objectives.

IS THIS JOB FOR YOU?

REQUIRED:

  • BS in Technical, Engineering, Business, Marketing, or related field; Required.
  • MS in Business, Marketing, or related field; Preferred.

 

  • 5+ years' experience within Sales and Business Development with direct/indirect impact to Life Sciences or Biotechnology; with proven track record of business development/growth, and experience in contract management, project management and/or contract negotiations; Required.
  • Experience within Single-Use Bio-technologies or Pharmacuetical; Preferred.
  • Experience with customer/design complexities warranting collaborations across multiple teams (i.e. sales, engineering, R&D, customer service, marketing, etc.); Required.

 

  • Valid Driver's License as company vehicle provided
  • Able to travel upwards of 50%, Domestic & International; Required.

Saint-Gobain aims to deliver a comprehensive Total Rewards package to support our employees’ wellbeing and help improve daily life for themselves and their families. We believe in the importance of pay transparency in what we offer prospective candidates and provide the national pay range for this position which is $102,000 to $158,000 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.

In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual bonus. The targeted bonus amount is 20% of base salary based on company and individual performance measures. The Total Target Cash range (base pay and annual bonus) for this position, is $122,400 to $189,600. Bonus payments are part of variable compensation and by nature can vary based on company and individual performance and is not a guarantee.

The Plant Quality Manager will be accountable to ensure the Quality Management System is implemented per requirements and to report areas of concern to Management. The Plant Quality Manager will be expected to ensure the plant remains in full compliance will regulatory requirements and ISO:13485 requirements as they pertain to the plant, customer specifications, and corporate quality procedures. This role will also be responsible for managing Quality department personnel at the site, including Quality Lab, Supplier Quality, Quality Engineering, and Site Cleanroom Monitoring and Control.

Promotes a safe working environment, complies with proper use of PPE, reports incidents, and participates in functional department safety meetings. Exhibits good environmental practices and procedures consistent with job(s) performed and EMS (Environmental Management System) requirements (ISO14644).

Job Functions:

  • Execution and oversight of a Quality Management System that operates in compliance with corporate quality policies and procedures, as well as relevant regulatory requirements (ISO:13485) and industry guidance.
  • Execution of document control and review/approval of controlled documents.
  • Execution and maintenance of ECO process including change management and review of all change controls.
  • Execution and maintenance of supplier quality management and performance of supplier audits as appropriate.
  • Complaint management including robust root cause analysis and CAPA.
  • Ensure robust root cause analysis investigation and CAPA for deviations and nonconforming product.
  • Implementation of an effective Internal Audit Program.
  • Ensure adequate training program is in place.
  • Oversight of applicable Validation Master Plan including equipment, process, product, sterilization, and test methods.
  • Oversight of quality control laboratory and review/approval of quality control testing.
  • Execution of cleanroom practices including qualification, monitoring, and behavior.
  • Responsibility for Quality Risk Management in relevant aspects of the QMS.
  • Responsible for maintenance and expansion of the Global QMS e-tool (ETQ) at the plant.
  • Facilitate management review process including implementation of a metrics control plan to measure and monitor the health of the Quality Management System, Manufacturing System, and Supply Chain.
  • Oversight and Maintenance of Site Sterility Program
  • Customer Management including facilitating/hosting customer audits, ensuring robust and effective corrective action to customer audit observations, reviewing/approving quality agreements with customers, partnering in the resolution of quality issues and requests for information by initiating effective interdepartmental communication, managing ISO certification and maintenance of certification.
  • Execute talent management activities with direct reports. Ensure proper performance management, training, and development of direct/indirect reports

 

 

IS THIS JOB FOR YOU?

  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Engineering-Preferred, or Life Sciences-related field (Chemistry, Biology, or Microbiology); required.
  • Master’s Degree in MBA or equivalent; preferred.
  • ASQ Certifications desirable (CQE, CQM, CQA); preferred.
  • ISO 13485 or Medical device experience; required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a regulated industry with emphasis in life sciences (e.g., pharma, biopharm, or medical device); required.
  • Minimum of 6 years in a Quality function with at least 3 years in a Quality System development and implementation role; required.
  • At least 3 years in a direct supervisory role; preferred.
  • Must be independent, quality, and cost-conscious, with skills in leadership and team building; required.
  • Must have experience in performing risk analysis (e.g., FMEA, FTA, Risk Ranking/Filtering); required.

Job Summary
QA Inspectors compare in process and finished goods to established specifications; reports variance to Coordinator.

Essential Functions:

  • Compare first piece produced on equipment set-up for conformance to specification.
  • Write detailed inspection report in compliance with GMP standard on parts, products and processes that fail inspection; investigates scope of the failure and forward report to Coordinator for disposition.
  • Use working knowledge of inspection techniques to determine most accurate method of comparing measurements of complex parts to blueprint and specification.
  • Compare measurements, form, fit, function and value judgments of simple and complex parts to blueprint, specifications and general workmanship standards using documents, experience and knowledge of inspection techniques.
  • Utilize statistical process control where applicable.
  • Assist in orientation of new technicians and inspection processes, as necessary.
  • Assist in ensuring proper calibration of equipment and measuring instruments.

Secondary Responsibilities

  • Maintain proper levelof supplies (office and inspection) to prevent depletion This includes reordering task
  • Carry out formulated plans, policies and procedures of the department per GMP regulations
  • Communicate with employee's any instructions or requirements as deemed necessary by the Quality Manager
  • Must be available for shift work, when necessary
  • Be willing to participate in training that may be conducted off-site
  • Report safety hazards observed to EHS Coordinator
  • Perform stock audits and other related duties as may be required
  • Perform other duties as assigned by senior management

In a safe manner operate and maintain various types of measuring/manufacturing equipment/hand tools efficiently. Using handheld device, register glass defects with photos to match our inspection criteria. - Inspect and record defective glass as instructed to ensure conformance to quality requirements.
- Handling and applying chemicals directly to the glass in specific areas
- Allocating components on glass surface according to specifications
- Adhering according to specifications
- Utilizing all established PPE at all times.
- Maintain equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; informing supervisors and team leads when machinery needs repairs; and adhering to all safety procedures and regulations.

Journeyman Electrician

WHY DO WE NEED YOU?

Job Duties:

  • Analyze and solve problems effectively, read blueprints and schematics, and use an array of tools and diagnostic devices to service and install electrical parts.
  • Troubleshoot, program, and maintain Allen Bradley PLCs using ladder logic code
  • Experience troubleshooting VFDs, soft starts, motor starters, and safety circuits
  • Understanding of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic control systems.
  • Experience with relay-based control systems troubleshooting and repairs.
  • Plan layout, install, and repair wiring, electrical fixtures, and control equipment such as switches, relays, and circuit breaker panels, using hand tools and power tools, according to specifications.
  • Applies knowledge of OSHA procedures, particularly Lockout Tagout and electrical testing.
  • Performs routine electrical maintenance on equipment and determines what maintenance plan is required to resolve the issue.
  • Maintain various PLC programs related to industrial equipment.

Work location: Norwood, MA
Compensation: Starting at $44.79 (+ shift differential)
Sign-on Bonus: $4,000 to be paid out at 3, 6, 9, and 12 months of employment.
Shift: Must be able to work either a 3rd shift or a 2nd shift
       3rd shift- 10PM-6:30AM Sunday-Friday
       2nd shift- 2PM -10PM Sunday-Friday

***Sunday is a mandatory day- 12 hr shift***
Sunday 2nd shift- 6AM-6:00PM
Sunday 3rd shift- 6:00PM-6:00AM
Training: The first 90 days of training are on the 1st shift

IS THIS JOB FOR YOU?

  • High School or equivalent
  • Must hold a valid Massachusetts State Electrician’s license.
  • 4+ years Industrial Electrician experience
