We seek a dynamic and innovative Supply Chain Digital Strategy Manager to spearhead our supply chain strategy, implementation, and technology initiatives. This role is pivotal in driving transformation and leveraging cutting-edge technologies to optimize our supply chain processes. Strategic Planning: Develop and implement supply chain strategies that align with the company's overall business objectives

Technology Integration: Lead the evaluation, selection, and implementation of supply chain technologies, including AI and SAP, to enhance efficiency and effectiveness

M&A: Develop plans to integrate the supply chain systems and technologies during mergers and acquisitions

Process Optimization: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to streamline supply chain operations

Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including procurement, logistics, and IT, to ensure cohesive and efficient supply chain operations

Data Analysis: Utilize data analytics and AI to monitor supply chain performance and make data-driven decisions for continuous improvement

Data Analytics and Reporting: Lead the development and implementation of data analytics tools and reporting systems to provide actionable insights for supply chain strategy and operations. Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of data and reports to support informed decision-making

Digital Transformation: Drive digital transformation initiatives within the supply chain function to enhance efficiency, transparency, and cost-effectiveness. Identify and implement innovative technology solutions, such as AI, machine learning, and automation, to streamline procurement processes

Vendor Management: Manage relationships with technology vendors and service providers to ensure optimal performance and cost-effectiveness

Compliance: Ensure all supply chain activities comply with relevant regulations and standards

Project Management: Lead the overall execution of supply chain projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with strategic goals

Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align supply chain strategies with business goals. Provide training and support to supply chain team members on data analytics tools, technology platforms, and digital processes

IS THIS JOB FOR YOU?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
  • Requires at least 8 to 10 years of supply chain, information technology, or engineering experience.

  • Direct manufacturing equipment support and maintenance.
  • Machine parts to specifications using lathes, vertical and horizontal boring mills, milling machines, or grinders for in house use.
  • Measure, examine, and report on completed units to ensure conformance to specifications, using precision tooling.
  • Inspect sample parts, assist developing drawings, to determine sequences of operations needed to machine products.

  • Serving as an experienced senior lead supporting Shared Services Center (“SSC”) accounting team, Business Unit (“BU”) and Service Provider team members, facilitating day-to-day accounting operations while improving the SSC accounting procedures and internal controls.   • Driving monthly close by approving journal entries, reconciliations, reports, intercompany invoices and balances, and reviewing income tax provisions. Ensuring Service Provider has all required inputs necessary to complete their closing duties. Responsible for the on-time delivery of closing results to customers’ management. Monitoring and analyzing applicable general ledger activity, ensuring account reconciliations are performed and reconciling items are accounted for on timely basis.
  • Responsible for customer financial reporting, ensuring compilation of Magnitude packages by the Service Provider, BU and SSC are completed on time, accurate and compliant with all controls. Ensuring tax, treasury, and government reports are completed accurately and on time by providing support to Service Provider as needed, quality review and monitoring
  • Ensuring compliance by Service Provider, SSC and BU with Saint-Gobain’s Internal Control Reference Framework (“ICRF”) and accounting guidelines established by GAAP and IFRS.
  • Working closely within the SSC and with the customer by leading or participating on initiatives to meet SSC and BU goals and on customer-sponsored special projects.
  • Responding to financial and tax audit requests for information and insight with support of Service Provider.
  • Applying technical know-how to research/resolve accounting and accounting systems issues for BU while lending direction to Service Provider. Support Service Provider with proper inputs or approvals for exceptions to accounting or process rules.

  • Professional Certification (CPA, CMA) is a plus.

  • Collaborate with leadership & cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with organizational goals.

  • The ideal candidate will have shown demonstrated passion and proven experience in process improvement or a similar role; supporting financial accounting areas such as general accounting, accounts payable, or cash application, etc.. 5 to 10 years of CI experience in a large complex international business is preferred.

Production Operator III, Finishing Specialist

We are a growing Company building our Wood Center of Excellence for our wood ceilings/panels offerings. In line with this, our Strongsville location is currently recruiting a Finishing Technician for 2nd shift.

The Production Associate will be expected to perform all duties and responsibilities for the operations in his/her assigned area. The successful candidate will follow plant, departmental, and job safety policies as well as know, understand, and demonstrate a thorough knowledge of safe operating procedures, including housekeeping requirements. The Production Associate must be able to: • Work a rotating shift schedule on an alternating basis (from days to nights, vice versa) • Report to scheduled work on time every day • Work nights and weekends when scheduled • Work overtime as required • Work in an environment that is hot in the summer and cold in the winter • Wear personal protective equipment that may include: hearing protection, steel toe boots, safety glasses, FR clothing, Hard Hats, masks, and respirators • Lift, push, pull up to 70 lbs. • Carry up to 50 lbs. • Safely operate a powered industrial vehicle (forklift, etc.) • Safely load product on flat bed trailers • Work productively as a member of a team Starting pay is $18.50/hour and benefits begin on the first day of employment!

We believe in the importance of pay transparency in what we offer potential candidates. Provided is the national pay range for this position which is $89,500 to $138,50 per year. However, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.

In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an Annual Sales Incentive Bonus. The targeted bonus amount is 30% of base salary and is based on Key Performance Indicators as determined by the Company. Bonus payments are part of variable compensation and by nature can vary based on company and individual performance and are not a guarantee.

Maintenance Mechanic - Manufacturing

Impact:

Maintains and installs equipment, troubleshoots machines and makes repairs to the facility.  Also responsible for other duties as assigned and determined by business needs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (includes the following; other duties may be assigned):

  • Safely performs machine repair and troubleshooting using OSHA and Saint-Gobain standards. 
  • Make repairs or fabricate equipment.
  • Disassemble production machinery and plant equipment to locate defective parts.
  • Remove and replace defective parts such as bushings, bearings, shafts, arbors, filters, pumps, gears and motors.
  • Reassemble production machinery and check manufactured parts to assure conformance to product specifications and proper functioning of equipment.
  • Perform repairs using the tools necessary to complete the task anywhere on the property.
  • Troubleshoot equipment or processes to determine root cause of problem to institute a corrective action including:

1.)   identify high maintenance problems and implement corrective procedures in a safe and efficient    manner.

2.) Interact with equipment manufacturers to troubleshoot and order replacement parts.

  • Paperwork, data entry and administrative tasks including:

1.) Maintain maintenance supply inventory records.

2.) Complete machine repair documentation using CMMS software.

3.) Participate as an active member on a WCM Pillar team.

4.) Specify and requisition electrical and mechanical materials.

IS THIS JOB FOR YOU?

Education:

  • 2 years Technical Degree or apprenticeship in Maintenance, Mechanical or Electrical Field of study Preferred

Work Experience:

  • 3-5 Years Mechanical, electrical and pneumatic systems background with experience in industrial equipment maintenance or equivalent demonstrated ability required.

 Technical Skills:

  • Basic PC Skills including use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Ability to manage multiple priorties and to clearly communicate information received in both written and verbal forms.
  • Ability to use shop math (add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals) and compute rate, ratio and percent and ability to reach and interpret basic measuring equipment
  • Ability to understand manufacturing processes and to read blue prints, writing schematics, sketches, equipment service manuals, sample parts and general instructions

We believe in the importance of pay transparency in what we offer prospective candidates and provide the local pay range for this position, which is $16.00 to $44.00 per hour. This hourly pay rate offered can vary depending on location, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. Estimated starting salary for this position is $25 - $35 per hour for external applicants. In addition to the hourly base pay rate, this position is eligible for periodic bonus payments/an annual bonus. The targeted bonus amount can be up to 10% of annual pay based on company and individual performance measures. Bonus payments are part of variable compensation and by nature can vary based on company and individual performance and is not a guarantee
