Saint-Gobain today announced that it has acquired the remaining equity interest and assets of Seven Hills Paperboard LLC, including a gypsum paper board liner manufacturing facility in Lynchburg, Virginia, from its joint venture partner WestRock.

Saint-Gobain North America, through its building products subsidiary CertainTeed Siding, today announced a $28 million expansion project at its facility in Williamsport, Maryland. This project, along with others made by CertainTeed at the site, will allow the company to improve production and shipping capacity and significantly increase warehouse space in order to increase the availability of their complete siding portfolio in the Mid-Atlantic Region, aligning with customer needs.

Through this program, scrap finished goods are recycled and used in production at other plants throughout Saint-Gobain Ceramics, including its facility in Huntsville, Alabama

Saint-Gobain has today completed the sale of its US CertainTeed Fence, Railing and Decking Business (FRD), to Oldcastle APG, a CRH Company.

2023 outlook upgraded

Saint-Gobain North America, through its building products subsidiary CertainTeed LLC, has upgraded key equipment throughout its insulation plant in Athens, GA, which is projected to save over 7,300 MWh of energy and 20 million gallons of water annually, while reducing landfill waste by over 5,000 MT.
