Welcome to Saint-Gobain’s Evidence of Insurance

At Saint-Gobain, our commitment to sustainability compels us to develop innovative and effective solutions that meet the challenge of protecting the environment and to consider the environmental impact of our business processes at every stage.

As a result of this commitment, we are pleased to offer to our business partners a simpler and more environmentally friendly approach to providing evidence of insurance coverage.  Instead of issuing individual certificates of insurance in paper form, we are moving to an electronic certificate of insurance (e-COI).

The purpose of this website is to provide 24-hour access to Saint-Gobain’s evidence of insurance coverages.  In addition to helping our customers and business partners become more efficient, an electronic certificate will reduce the overall impact on the environment eliminating the need for paper.

Saint-Gobain is often asked to provide evidence of its corporate insurance coverage. Examples of situations where a certificate of insurance may be required include:

  • Using a non-Saint-Gobain location to host an event
  • Leasing or renting equipment, motor vehicles, or real estate
  • Customer RFPs and contracts

The e-COI differs from a standard paper certificate of insurance only in that it doesn't contain the certificate holder's name.  Nevertheless, an e-COI is universally accepted as evidence of coverage in place of a standard paper insurance certificate.  Issuing and tracking paper certificates can take a lot of time and be quite expensive without adding value to any process.  By utilizing e-COIs Saint-Gobain will continue to provide evidence of insurance to meet terms of legally binding contracts and agreements.
