What's the job?

The Sr. Foundations Practitioner will lead TIP Foundations deployment and maturity improvement initiatives across Saint-Gobain North America businesses. This role will coach Foundations Champions and plant leaders to embed standard routines, strengthen operational performance, and sustainably reduce safety, quality, delivery, and cost losses through the consistent use of Loss & Cost Deployment, performance management systems, structured problem solving, kaizen, and 5S.
 
· Lead TIP Foundations deployment and maturity plans across Saint-Gobain North America business units, using assessments and Loss & Cost Deployment to identify gaps and develop site roadmaps.
· Facilitate and coach Loss & Cost Deployment to identify, quantify, and prioritize safety, quality, delivery, and cost losses, translating those priorities into a governed improvement portfolio.
· Strengthen daily and weekly management routines, KPI systems, performance reviews, escalation processes, and follow-up routines to ensure improvements are embedded and sustained.
· Lead and coach structured problem solving and kaizen events, helping teams apply standard methods and close actions that eliminate prioritized losses.
· Coach the implementation and sustainment of 5S, standard work, and routine management practices through effective auditing and daily management systems.
· Provide structured coaching to OPEX community members, supervisors, plant leaders, and cross-functional partners to support standard methods, capability building, and site roadmap execution.
 

IS THIS JOB FOR YOU?

What do you bring?

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, such as Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical Engineering, or a related technical field.
  •  5 -7 years of experience in manufacturing, operations, continuous improvement, or operational excellence roles.
  • Strong working knowledge and demonstrated application of TIP Foundations systems, including Loss & Cost Deployment, performance management systems, structured problem solving, kaizen, and 5S.
  • Ability to develop and deliver training on technical materials, systems, and operational excellence practices.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence, coach, and align stakeholders without direct authority.
  • Continuous improvement knowledge with the ability to support and scale WCM programs across multiple businesses and regions.
  • Lean/Six Sigma Yellow or Green Belt, or internal OPEX/WCM certification, required within one year.
  • Master's degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or Operations Management preferred.
  • This role requires frequent travel within North America, including the U.S., Canada, and Mexico, to support plants and business units through on-site coaching, training, audits, and improvement events. Travel is estimated at approximately 75% and may vary based on deployment needs.

Certain locations require pay information be provided in job postings. Saint-Gobain aims to deliver a comprehensive Total Rewards package to support our employees’ wellbeing and help improve daily life for themselves and their families. We believe in the importance of pay transparency in what we offer potential candidates. Provided is the national pay range for this position which is $102,000 to $158,000 per year. However, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.

In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual bonus. The targeted bonus amount is 13% of base salary based on company and individual performance measures. The Total Target Cash range (base pay and annual bonus) for this position, is $115,260 to $178,540. Bonus payments are part of variable compensation and by nature can vary based on company and individual performance and is not a guarantee.
