This role is essential to maintaining the operational discipline and organizational alignment required for a high-performing manufacturing facility. We depend on this position to deliver reliable administrative support to the Plant Manager and leadership team while ensuring seamless coordination across HR, Purchasing, Production, Finance, and the Gypsum Corporate Office.

Your ability to manage information, uphold process integrity, and facilitate cross-functional communication strengthens the plant's overall efficiency and supports CertainTeed's commitment to operational excellence.

IS THIS JOB FOR YOU?

  • An Associate's degree in Business Administration or a related discipline, supporting strong business acumen and organizational capability.
  • 4–6 years of administrative or office experience within a manufacturing environment, demonstrating familiarity with plant operations and cross-functional workflows.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook to support reporting, communication, and data management
  • Ability to learn and navigate SAP, Medius, and other enterprise business systems is essential to CertainTeed’s operational processes.
  • Demonstrated flexibility to adjust to evolving priorities and dynamic plant requirements while maintaining accuracy and professionalism
  • Valid Driver’s License — must maintain a current and valid driver’s license in support of business needs.
