WHY DO WE NEED YOU?

Reporting to the Regional Recruiting Lead, the Talent Acquisition Partner will execute our manufacturing recruiting strategy - with an emphasis on customer centricity and recruitment process optimization.
As a critical business partner, this position is instrumental in attracting diverse top talent and supporting the success of our global people strategy in North America.
The Talent Acquisition Partner will support talent acquisition initiatives and plans in multiple manufacturing locations within the assigned region. Key success factors include reducing time-to-fill, mitigating candidate turnover and enhancing current local market bench strength within the assigned region.
The incumbent will work closely with their Regional Recruiting Lead and manufacturing hiring teams to identify and attract qualified and diverse candidates, screen and schedule candidates for interviews, process pre-employment requirements and track and document key performance indicator metrics to ensure continuous improvement over time.
This position will be expected to combine strategic HR, Talent Acquisition, and related disciplines to serve effectively as a critical resource in the manufacturing recruitment space.
Key responsibilities include:
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders in an assigned geographical region through Trust, Empowerment and Collaboration (TEC) values. Aligns regularly regarding current and future business workforce needs.
  • Develop plans to execute the overall talent acquisition strategy and action items for manufacturing plant locations.
  • Communicate openly and regularly with all candidates, hiring and human resources teams to ensure a best-in-class experience for all involved.
  • Accountable to ensure all stakeholders follow established processes.
  • Coach and guide hiring teams as the subject matter expert in the Manufacturing Recruiting space. (E.g., adherence to legal requirements, focus on diverse hiring initiatives, capitalize on best practices, focus on candidate & employee experience, etc.)
  • Serve as an ambassador for Saint-Gobain by clearly articulating our value proposition.
  • Optimize features of the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), scheduling, communication, and sourcing tools to fill requisitions with a sense of urgency.
  • Manage and monitor job posting performance and adjusts tools, platforms and resources as necessary.
  • Maximize the use of search channels, networks, diversity channels, social media, university relationships, trade school events, career events, etc. in partnership with other internal Talent Management resources/teams.
  • Develop a robust pipeline of talent by recruiting passive and active candidates for commonly requested niche roles.
  • Problem solve and react quickly to concerns/issues presented in all stages of the recruitment life cycle.

IS THIS JOB FOR YOU?

  • Bachelors degree in related discipline is preferred; combination of education and experience will be considered
  • Requires a minimum of 2-5 years' full life cycle recruiting experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products
  • Expertise in current and relevant HR legislation (FLSA, EEO, Pay Transparency, etc.)
  • Proven track record in effectively sourcing and securing exceptional talent for exempt and/or non-exempt positions within the manufacturing sector
  • Demonstrates expertise leveraging tools, such as LinkedIn Recruiter and/or Indeed, for direct sourcing 

TO MAKE SURE NOTHING IS FORGOTTEN

This is a remote role; however it is preferred that the candidate live in either the Mid-Atlantic, Southeastern or Midwest area to support our business.

BENEFITS IN JOINING US

Certain locations require pay information be provided in job postings. Saint-Gobain aims to deliver a comprehensive Total Rewards package to support our employees’ wellbeing and help improve daily life for themselves and their families. We believe in the importance of pay transparency in what we offer potential candidates. Provided is the national pay range for this position which is $81,500 to $126,500 per year. However, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.

In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual bonus. The targeted bonus amount is 10% of base salary based on company and individual performance measures. The Total Target Cash range (base pay and annual bonus) for this position, is $89,650 to $139,150. Bonus payments are part of variable compensation and by nature can vary based on company and individual performance and is not a guarantee.
